The Hawk Niagara Falls Golf Club - Red Talon
About
The Red Talon Course (formerly known as The Hillside Course) is one of three nine-hole courses at The Hawk Niagara Falls Golf Club. It is similar to the original course at the club, the Blue Niagara, in that water comes into play on four holes. This golf course, however, uses the many lakes scattered throughout its landscape in creative ways to provide a unique set of challenges. There are also strategically placed bunkers bordering the fairways and greens. The golf course starts out with the shortest par-4 at The Hawk Niagara Falls Golf Club but bites back with a tricky par 3. The fourth and fifth holes are built between two lakes, making them particularly scenic but they also demand hitting straight.

Premium
Pen lakes is in great shape for early spring. Even the sand traps were groomed well . Very well organized club. Greens were just a little long causing some short puts. Looking forward to my next round.
Great course
Really enjoyed playing this course
It was in great condition and offered a challenging but not crazy difficult 18 holes
Staff on arrival and in the clubhouse were great !!
Definitely will be back
Course was in good shape as usual. Not sure why the course marshal needs to come around pushing our group when we were not holding up the group behind us. I prefer the coloured flag system used by other courses. We aren’t out there to have conversations with the marshal. We would much rather focus on our golf game. During our previous game at Pen. we experienced 3 groups on number 2 Hillside with no marshal so their system isn’t very consistent.
