Great experience
Beautiful course. Very challenging greens. In great condition, especially considering the drought in the area. Staff and members were very friendly and obviously proud of their course. Ended up playing alone when second failed to show. Three groups waved me through without hesitation. Look forward to playing again on my next visit to Ft. Erie!
Great Small Town Country Club
Very nice, easy to play track. Given the drought-like summer, it's in great shape. Quick, but true greens.
Great coarse to play
Always a pleasure to play this coarse. Greens are fast and roll great. A good test for your putting skills.
A pleasant, challenging course
My only complaint was that some of the bunkers were like concrete. Other than that it is a very enjoyable course to play.
Great Course for under $50
This course is definitely worth a play!!! But make sure you don't pay over 50.00. Number 9 and 18 are their two most challenging holes. A few holes are just straight away without much trouble. Greens not to bad a couple were quite hard. The pace of play was fantastic under 4 hours
Greens Perfect - Excellent shape.
My first time playing this course. The greens were true and fast and course layout was excellent with many cool holes. Tee off time of 7am was great as my 4some finished in 3 1/2 hours. I already recommended this course to my brother and 2 friends. I live in Buffalo, NY and have to cross the border/ bridge to get here, but I liked it so much that I plan on playing this course again next week! Also, I booked online and got a great rate and it was worth every penny.
great shape!!!
One of the better golf courses in the Niagara region.
Very good condition!! For better golfers, try the black tee at 6700 yards.
Bunkers
There is genuine lack of good depth of sand and they need working.
Very nice viurse
Lots of challenging holes, great design, friendly staff.
The course was in great shape as far as fairways tees and greens go but the bunkers were hard as a rock and filled with large stones. Having found myself in many of them I was not impressed
A Pleasure to Play
Course was in good condition greens were in good condition considering they had been punch and sanded a couple weeks earlier, bunkers were in great condition. This course is a challenge for all skill levels.
long weekend
great GolfNow deal -20.00 for 18 holes
very hot long weekend Monday 1:50 afternoon tee off time that was late by 15 minutes (I was a single and showed up 1 hour early hoping to get out before booked time).
very busy and slow (to be expected with it being a 3 day holiday) - some golfers using back tees that had not business using
saw marshal at 8th hole, so no strong effort to speed up play
gave up after 9 holes - time was 4:45 - hot and not wanting to finish later than planned
Bridgewater great course
Although very late in the season (last week of November) course is still in good shape and s pleasure to play
Great November day for Golf
Was a beautiful day, temp. approx. 21 degrees & course was in excellent shape except the greens had been aerated which made putting a bit difficult. Would recommend this course & will definitely play here again.
great condition
greens are perfect! Fairways perfect- whole course great !
wet car path only like to try again
i would like to play the course again on a dry day so i can get more roll out of my ball nice course
Excellent course
Conditions were pristine. Fairways well watered and plush. Greens were well rolled and watered and fast. Excellent course
Not worth your money
Booked an early morning tee time. Grounds crew had no etiquette at all! First 3 holes were extremely frustrating. Crew cutting greens would stay on the edge of the greens and leave there engines on while we were putting. The crew cutting fairways and rough just as bad. The crew member stopped approx 10-15ft from my friend and proceeded to rev down in the middle of his backswing. Absolutely ridiculous that the employees have no golf etiquette or common courtesy for the paying customers!
A hidden gem
I'd played the course before but my playing partner had not. He was very impressed with the layout and the variety of holes. Course conditions were very good but not great (we've had a dry spell and unseasonably hot weather recently). There was some inconsistency with the speeds of the greens.
The staff were friendly and accommodating. We had a late breakfast at the club before going out and it was delicious with big portions and very reasonably priced.
monday funday
What a great course and staff! My partner was running late for a 1:40 tee time." Know problem we will fit you in whenever you are ready...your round includes a bucket of balls take your time" . Playing the course was fun, although the clubhouse is closed on Mondays there still was the half way house and drink cart. The course was well kept and challenging. The greens are very hard to read. Golf carts are quick and comfortable. We will play again for sure.
A GREAT Day!
Booked an 8:20 tee time and got out on the course about 40 minutes early because when we checked in, there was no one ready to go.
This course is absolutely in beautiful shape and judging by all the workers present, is very well maintained. It is very forgiving , for the most part, but you must keep your ball in or near the fairway. There are also quite a few lay-up shots to keep yourself out of trouble. All in all, I recommend this course to anyone who wants a very pleasant round of golf.
