great course

First time playing this course, was immensely impressed. Great layout, wonderfully par 3,s. Fortunately I was playing with other GolfNow guys who knew the routing of the holes, otherwise it may have been a little difficult finding the next hole. No signage, which is understandable at this (former) private club.

Pace of play was good, the 9th and and 18th holes are great finishing holes on each nine.

Greeting at the pro shop was not the most friendly, rather blunt, the only negative point of the experience.

White tee boxes

Most holes, the white and red tees are on the same tee box. They need to build separate white and red tee boxes.

Old tradional style course.

Although it had had rained several days in a row prior to our playing..the course although a little wet was in good condition. We stayed for dinner following our round and the food was good..our waitress very friendly...we will certainly play this course again.

Excellent course to play, quick greens, manicured fairways and fast play.

Had a great time at Bridgewater this past June 5 2013. Course was in great condition considering the huge amount of rain these last few weeks and again today. Green were rolling true and at a fantastic pace. Shot an 81, not my best out there but not my worse either. : ) I recommend this course to anyone wanting to have a challenging but fun round.

Excellent course to play much better than anticipated.

This is a great layout with no similar holes, great fairways with small greens makes it a shot makers course. The greens and tees and fairways are in great condition but don't go into the rough as it is very difficult.
The very hard and dry greens (no ball marks) are very difficult to play and position off the tee is more important than you think ... need to play more then once to understand ... only problem is the bunkers which need a lot of sand to be payable ... great course!

I expected more from a private course.

Beautiful greens.
Fairways and tee-blocks were "shaggy"
Tee-blocks were un-level.

Good Value, Good food and friendly staff

Course was in very good condition and greens were very quick, SM 11+, for this time of year. Nice example of Stanley Thompson greens, fast with slope!

Played behind 2 groups of members and still finished in 3.5 hrs.

Stopped in the restaurant and enjoyed a nice well priced lunch.

Best kept secret in Niagara region

Well worth the drive from Toronto to play this classic Stanley Thompson course. Amazing greens and manicured fairways and it's only April! Played under 3 hours as twosome riding and plan to make a regular trip back at least once a month. Highly recommended if you're looking for straightforward course with tree lined fairways, great green complexes that roll true and challenging holes, not the longest but makes use of every club in the bag.

This course has well protected fast greens.

Spring is a difficult time to rate a course as the weather causes more hazards than normal, however the course was in excellent condition for this time of year. The greens were faster than I expected and the fairways much drier than is the norm for spring golf. It was very windy making club selection tricky and much more challenging than I needed for early golf. I like the pace of play and look forward to playing at Bridgewater again.

Best value for the money near Buffalo, NY.

This is an "old time" course with lots of trees and greens that are anything but flat, but which are in very good condition. It was a strictly private course until either this year or last, when the general public was allowed to play at certain times.

Bang for the buck!

This course is an excellent Stanley Thompson layout. Very mature, challenging greens and tree-lined. For the price we paid, $42/w.cart, we could not have been happier especially considering the weather was perfect. All in all it was an excellent deal and would definitly play it again in a heartbeat.
