Great value for well designed, mature course
Bridgewater is a well maintained, mature course. Well designed. Great old school country club clubhouse. Proper facilities. Overall excellent play for the money.
Great place to play, excellent conditions
Where else can you play a Stanley Thompson course for such a great value. The course is in great condition, layout is awesome. Pro shop is fully stocked with every thing you could use. Staff was great in both Pro shop and beverage room.
Wonderful natural layout
This course has it all for the Nostalgic golfer. Mature trees
surrounding small but challenging greens.
This courses has great features.
This course would be one of Niagara's "hidden gems". We golfed the course in early October on a cloudy and drizzly day. The fairways were in "tournament" form and the greens were extremely challenging. Receptive and quick. The pro shop staff were very friendly and helpful. The grounds crew were very respectful when you addressed your ball. ie shut mowers off. This is a course that I plan on coming back to many times with my golfing friends!!!
A good selection of holes
could use more work on the traps. Greens true and reasonably fast.
A very enjoyable course to play with tricky, well maintained greens.
It has become one of my favourite courses in the Niagara Region. An interesting, but fair course which would challenge players of all levels. The greens and fairways are in very good condition. My only negative comment is that the sand is not very good, but if you don't go in it, it doesn't matter.
Nice Layout
This is a very nice traditional golf course and one of the nicest layouts we have played. The greens were in very good shape and there was a mixture of straight putts to ones that had a lot of bend. We played with one of the members and he made us feel right at home. The range is not very big, but was free to use and it was big enough to hit all of your clubs (watch out on the second hole as it is very close to the driving range and there were lots of driving range ball near that green). Be prepared to us all of your clubs and it helps to be able to work the ball both ways. We played here a few times this year and always had a great experience.
great layout and good greens.
A great course for a good value. I don't like how the practice range balls could be found on or near the 2nd green, a little dangerous.
Need to play it again
First time ever played the course and looking to go back again this year. Some very challenging holes but you need to have played the course previously to really enjoy it.
