About
Located only minutes away from downtown Hamilton and offering a spectacular view of the city, Chedoke Golf Club features two 18-hole championship golf courses. The par-70 Martin Course was built in 1896 and was the original Hamilton Golf & Country Club before it was relocated to Ancaster. It plays 5, 745 yards from the championship tees.

Nice Game of Golf
Loved Chedoke. Wish City of Hamilton would put money into club house so we would feel inclined to stay and have a bite on site. Value was great. We would suggest directional signs as there are no cart paths, and the course does cross back and forth and shares greens between holes. Other than that it was lovely.
Course is good for beginner
Course is good for beginner. This course is almost straight and large. Therefore if you're beginner, I recommend this course.
Hardest short course
Between the change in elevation, a 260 yard par 3, and many holes playing uphill, this is one of the most difficult short courses I’ve ever played.
The rough is very long this year, and many fairways funnel balls there. That, and you almost never have an even lie. Lots of elevated greens makes the course play much longer, especially on the back 9
Good course great price
Overall.course is nice.juat needs improved signage for course from hole.to hole

The course was very well laid out. We picked a hot day to play and unfortunately the cart girl was not seen very often..
Excellent shape and good layout. Very traditional course layout. Worth the money.
Great Shape For a Civic Course!
Played first thing this morning and multiple mowers were out keeping fairways in great shape! Other than tee boxes (if you like taking irons off the grass on 3’s) the course was in excellent shape.
Not the best layout and a little confusing at first, but it’s built into the escarpment so it’s understandable.
Course maintenance
Course would be a lot better if they cut the rough and took more care of the tee blocks and greens. Ball marks on the greens and most of the holes have narrow fairway cuts with lots of overgrown rough.
