great municiple course. scenic and challenging.
One of the best course layouts. Cut through a mature forest in the Red Hill valley. High slope rating, but playable if you keep your ball in the fairway. There are 4 different tees to cater to diffferent abilities. Put your ego aside and play the tees best suited to your abilities to get best enjoyment out of your round. Rumour has it that Jack Nicklaus looked at this property when deciding on a location to build his first golf course in Canada...which ultimately became Glen Abbey 20 min NE from Hamilton.
very average
I'm not sure how this course got rated in the Top 100. Not that interesting a design and the conditioning was what you'd expect from an average muni. Just an average course in a nice area but the green fees are a little higher than they should be.
