Hornby Glen Golf Course
About
Situated at the base of Halton Hills, Hornby Glen Golf Course was built upon rolling, wide-open terrain. This affordable public course offers the quality and many of the amenities of a private club, including a clubhouse and pro shop. The tumbling landscape provides undulating fairways and expansive, rolling greens where players are likely to three-putt if not patient. Despite the golf course's hilliness, it is surprisingly easy to walk. The layout is gentle enough for beginners but it also provides an excellent way for more advanced golfers to work on their short game. The par-4 eighth is Hornby Glen Golf Course's signature hole, known for the long ravine that appears halfway down the fairway where if you get stuck, you'll be facing a blind shot to the green.

Enjoyed the track
Fairways & greens were in good condition , and the greens were tough to read , I thoroughly enjoyed it
Hornby glen
The days leading up to my round were very wet the course drained well greens speeds were still rolling smooth and reasonably fast . For a first time visit definitely recommend value was there 100$ for round plus cart .
Worst f. u. cki. ng experience
Backed up to the ti..ts ….twosome, singles, thresomes shot show everywhere…people jumping onto different holes..saw Marshall once with empty promises…he was buddy with those jumping out of position….
Never again..this place should be turn into a subdivision…hopefully sooner than later..
What’s with the Marshall??
I was part of a foursome and was told to pick up the pace. There was never a golfer behind us.
Non existent Marshall
The pace of play is not monitored, leading to long waits of 10-20 minutes at each tee block. Given the cost, it’s frustrating to experience constant delays due to players not keeping up with the pace. It would be helpful if the course could ensure players move along more efficiently, especially when it comes to searching for lost balls. If tee times are scheduled, it seems important to also manage the overall pace on the course so everyone has a good time.
Average
It’s a decent track. I think it’s overpriced for what it is. Conditions were good, well maintained course. The cart I got was brutal, took about 10 seconds of my foot on the gas to get it going (avoid #59 lol). Pace of play is definitely up in the air I feel like it can be very slow some days but some people let us through, then we hit a wall. Overall I would play it again as a walk on solo but I will opt using my push cart next time. Kind of crazy I payed 90 for this experience lol.
Basic course
Overpriced as it is a basic course. Poor selection of drinks and they were not very cold.
Hornby was a beautiful course to play.
Found the staff very accommodating, and very friendly, will continue to golf this course.
