Hornby Glen Golf Course
About
Situated at the base of Halton Hills, Hornby Glen Golf Course was built upon rolling, wide-open terrain. This affordable public course offers the quality and many of the amenities of a private club, including a clubhouse and pro shop. The tumbling landscape provides undulating fairways and expansive, rolling greens where players are likely to three-putt if not patient. Despite the golf course's hilliness, it is surprisingly easy to walk. The layout is gentle enough for beginners but it also provides an excellent way for more advanced golfers to work on their short game. The par-4 eighth is Hornby Glen Golf Course's signature hole, known for the long ravine that appears halfway down the fairway where if you get stuck, you'll be facing a blind shot to the green.

Good course,
Good course for beginners, moderates and seniors. Pace was good and not rushed. Staff was friendly. Dont think they had a cart girl that day but other than that no complaints whatsoever. Took my dad there for his 83rd bday and really enjoyed the course and pace. We'll be back.
Great lay out
It has been awhile since I played Hornby, i am glad that I played it again, the course is in excellent condition.
All of the staff were very helpful and friendly. I will certainly play it again.
Enjoyable round
Hornby Glen is a suitable course for all golfers… beginners to advanced. Large forgiving fairways. Well cared for greens.
Reasonable Value
I played here May 19th and I commented on the slow greens, but maybe that was spring golf. Well, this time the greens were much better with good pace. The pace of play started a little slow, but by the 3rd hole it was pretty good for the rest of the round. This course is an easy walk. The value is just ok, but I believe the pandemic is to blame for the price of golf today. It seems no course is a good value anymore.
Also, a shout out to the very friendly starter, Wayne.
Decent course
Its a decent course and good value for the price. I saw reviews complaining about the shape the course is in - honestly its fine. Plays long and there is enough challenge for the mid handicapper. Would play again.
