Situated in the center of Kawarthas on the northern shore of Rice Lake, Bellmere Winds Golf Club offers scenic views of the water from every hole. This 18-hole golf course features plenty of elevation changes and a few doglegs added in for more challenges. The topography causes a few uneven lies, it also makes the golf course very difficult to walk, and there are also natural ditches around the narrow fairways that can be treacherous to any errant shots. All of the par 3s have a pond and there are strategically placed sand bunkers throughout. Bellmere Winds Golf Club is conveniently located only 25 minutes from Peterborough.

Great views
The scenery was great and the greens and fairways were in good shape.
Only downside was the condition of the cart paths ... very rough and washed out.

Bellemere - always good
Course is always green and well kept. Almost got hit twice by some other golfers who didn’t yell “Fore” but other than that, an enjoyable round. Staff were awesome.
First Impression
First time playing the course. Friendly greeting, carts ready to go. Very nice course - great views. Pace of play on back 9 was poor and the group holding us up wouldn’t let us play through just kept slowing us up. No beverage cart and it was a warm day - other than that was a decent first impression

Enjoyed the round....greens still 'rough' but almost end of year so somewhat understandable. Good value for the money and staff always friendly.
Cart paths
Limestone screening or at least some kind of grading would go a long way on the cart paths. To say they are in poor condition would be a huge understatement. The coarse otherwise is in great shape and fun to play..The staff are very friendly and accommodating.
