About
Situated in the center of Kawarthas on the northern shore of Rice Lake, Bellmere Winds Golf Club offers scenic views of the water from every hole. This 18-hole golf course features plenty of elevation changes and a few doglegs added in for more challenges. The topography causes a few uneven lies, it also makes the golf course very difficult to walk, and there are also natural ditches around the narrow fairways that can be treacherous to any errant shots. All of the par 3s have a pond and there are strategically placed sand bunkers throughout. Bellmere Winds Golf Club is conveniently located only 25 minutes from Peterborough.

i am pleased with all aspects of the service particularly the covid processes in place
beautiful day. lovely view of the lake, good pace of play, i lost many balls in the long grass
First Round This Year
Changed the Covid protocols different from last season - Very poorly done this year - Extremely slow play.

Loved the course.....pace of play was ok after they moved the slowpokes up a couple of holes
A Gem in the Peterborough area!
Very Good course conditions from tee to green.. Bunkers unplayable but that is expected considering no on course work because of covid 19 restrictions... cart paths very bumpy again probably because no work allowed to be done. Great views, playable for all skill level.. if the wind picks up it could be a difficult round.

First time playing here and loved it
This course is a hidden gem, only 1 hour from east Toronto and wow, what a great experience. Definitely a challenging course with breathtaking views. I loved playing here with my friends and the hospitality from the staff was amazing. Can't wait to come back here again.
Great course
The course was in great condition except for a few greens where golfers were not fixing their divots. That is the only negative thing i have to say about Bellemere winds. i have golfed here about 20 times this season and am always impressed with the way the staff keep the course. Definitely a favourite of mine and plan to return many of times next season

Too wet to play so got raincheck
#### Note: They changed the rules on Golf Now vouchers: the voucher says "includes green fees and cart" which should mean "for every player, as always in the past, but now they claim that it includes green fees but only cart for 1 player !!
power cart condition is very pool. pathway were not paved too much dusty
first time play with friends of 8 players.
drive 2 hours from Toronto to this course.
course layout is very good,
and views are very nice ,panorama views.
we got special promotion deal price 1 night resort & 2 days play golf
but power carts conditions are very pool.
pathway not paved .
when driving golf cart there was too much dust and it was uncomfortable to breathe.
hopefully management must paved for next year..
definitely will be back to play
Slowest Round of Golf Ever
Course was in good shape, but i was a 5 & 1/2 hour round. Frost delay in the morning, and overbooking was the problem. Takes all of the fun out of it if you have to wait 10 minutes between shots. But gorgeous views and a good test of golf
Beautiful course
Gorgeous views overlooking Rice lake. Quite challenging, fairways were quite narrow and some greens were very sloped. The rough was just that, rough. Thick overgrown brush that made it impossible to find your ball (trust me, bring lots). For a beginner this was a rather tough course.
Needs work and some !
Pathways need repair in may cases
Vast overbooking causing starting and playing delays
Needs work on many levels
Course in relatively good shape though some greens and pathways need work
Overbooking leads to bad slowdowns and no marshals to speed up the pace or check whether people are playing their booking times
Golf Course was aerated
Course was aerated and Golfnow should know so the members are aware of it.
Friday At Bellmere
Have played this course since its inception.
And the course conditions are better than ever before .
Even despite punched/sanded greens it was lush & green.
Bunkers & cart paths need addressing but realize the priority is greens/fairways.
Pace of play was worse than ever.
Foursomes only should be priority when volume is at capacity.
Incredible day with a tarnished waiting on every hole.
Still...Worth the drive to Villiers
