Fair & Enjoyable
This is a very good course if you are a Beginner or an Intermediate player. There are lots of opportunities to use your Driver and you don't run out of fairway. The course is fairly open with great site lines. The greens are a little tricky to read and the speed is hard to comprehend. 3 footers run by the hole or rim out.
Geese
There was so much goose scat , it was a distraction. We played here many times last year without this Problem. I sense a bit of financial struggle, the pro shop told us that there was not a starter as they are cutting hours and not one of the three pro shop staff were working the upcoming three days of the week. We probably won't return this season unless the course gets cleaned. We played Royal Niagara the day before and the grounds were spotless.
Boring, "farm field course"
There were a few water hazards, lots of sand traps but the course was a typical "farm field" golf course. It was very boring and repetitive. I wouldn't play here again..
Granite Ridge Cobalt
Firstly no one around at the golf carts so some confusion on which cart to take. Secondly when he did turn up he was quite rude. Apart from that course was great, food afterwards was very good. I would play this course again.
Very good condition for this early in the year.
The title says it all. Moderately challenging from the blues.
Great course, great time!
The course was in great condition, fairways and greens were brilliant and true. Shorter holes that were tighter to challenge your ability. Most holes had bail outs onto other fairways or open areas so not too punishing if you went a bit wayward off the tee.
Only minor complaint was the 90 degree buggy rule but that's a small sacrifice to make. Would definitely play again
Good bang for your buck!
Booked a round on the Ruby course same day as play. As the review title says, you get a good course for some the best rates in the GTA.
The pace of play was slow but it was one of the first nice Saturday's of the season. Greens were soft and a bit hairy but that goes when the course just opens. These are not complaints, I will play there a few more times this season.
It's a good course for the average golfer that will spray the ball as it is fairly open and forgiving.
green
very good green friendly
Beautiful course
For being so early in the season Granite Ridge was beautiful. The greens were perfect and the fairways were cut nicely.
Great
Great day of golf people here are the best
Course was still wet.
The course was still wet, I had to move my ball out of some of the fairways because they were too soft.
The course should be much better in a few weeks.
Short but a decent challenge
Staff moved me up no issues. Early sprig so lots of wet fairways but greens in good.nick. lots of.water makes risk reward golf.the order of.the day.
Food was average to say the least despite online reviews that its great
Good course to play in March.
The course was wet and there were some over flowing ponds but overall better conditions than expected for a round of golf in March.
The greens were in good shape considering the course was closed due to ice the day before.
$25 to $30 is the right price for this time of year.
Fun Course
We had a great time and plan on being back. There are a lot of scoring holes for aggressive and conservative players. Not a long course but there are many visual distractions such as ponds, tree lines, tight fairways and small undulating greens to keep you honest.
The course is fairly easy to walk despite the escarpment in the background. A good scenery for nature likers.
Very Straight forward
This is a very nice course in very good condition. It is late in the year so we got around very quickly. The people are nice and the food was great afterward.
Value for money
Two courses Ruby and Cobalt provide a great golfing experience. Overall a great experience with all what you need from game, facilities and F&B. Staff is friendly and ensure high service standards at all times.
Ruby
Great day for golf in Milton. The sun was shining and the wind wasn't too strong.
