LCBO Tournament

We were in the LCBO tournament, 18 teams of 4 . We finished with-8 and won it in the play off.

Weather was warm, with a very slight breeze, over all a great day and raised money for charity,at $92 per player entry fee.

18 Holes. Course plays long. Hills and Elevation

Played Newcastle Golf Course 03 August 2024. Very friendly staff. They have a warm up hitting net. Also a nice big chip and put warm up green area. Tee off time was ahead of schedule. Pace of play on the front 9 holes was normal. Back 9 was very quick. Tee off boxes 8/10. Fairway to rough to OB nice transitions. Greens 8.5/10. Bunkers nice sand. The course plays long. Walking and pull carts do have some big hills to get through aka Hole # 2 called the “Monster”. A great course for Scratch to High handicap golfers. **Will be challenging for beginners. A nice course for the price and value.

It was forecasting rain all day and I couldn’t get a rain check from golfnow , so I drove out and played in the drizzle on some holes , but over all it was ok , nobody else around so I just practiced my irons
