This course has been going downhill the last couple of years. This was by far the worst experience. The staff is very friendly however they need direction. There were dead and abandoned carts all over the course. And the staff shut the grill down at 330pm on a Saturday.

The course is average due to the fairways conditions, it is a but gard which can make ball control a challenge. Adding some sand would goa long way. That being said you do fet a reasonable good value for what you pay.

The course can be a great course if a fairway was cut on and we didn't have to be playing on long grass

This golf course used to be nice but the new owners have degraded it to an over grown field. Don’t even think about going there. I lost my golf ball in the centre of the fairway on the first hole due to the length of grass. Don’t even think about going there!

could use a little more maintenance on the fairways, very forgiving course layout though.

The course doesn’t have fairways and if it wasn’t for their greens being extremely slow some of them wouldn’t be playable (crazy slope). The round only cost $30 but idk if that’s even worth it since it’s not even a real golf course.

The first 4 holes you are lucky to find your ball in the middle of the fairway because the grass is so long. They charge way too much for what you get!

Course was nice. And staff was nice but things went downhill fairly quick. My cart started to die around the 7th or 8th hole. By the 10th hole it was nearly kaput so I called the office to get one replaced. The girl said someone would be out to replace it. By the 11th it completely died so I called ask8ng where it was. The guy said they had no more carts and were waiting g for peiple to finish the 18th before others would be available. They asked if I could fit my stuff in the other cart where two of my buddies already were. And there was no offer to reimburse me for anything I had paid for. Not to mention the group playing in front of us went through 3 carts. And we're offered refunds. I'm extremely disappointed

I live in Newcastle and every year I play Newcastle Golf Club hoping that it has gotten better and returned to previous glory. But it doesn’t. First off, I’d like to say the young staff they have working there are amazing. Polite, courteous, and understanding. But it can’t make up for the fact that the course is in abysmal shape. The fairways are way too long and don’t look like they are cut often. The greens are long are are like putting on shag carpets. The bunkers are firm and not taken care of and the tee boxes are horrific. There are a shortage of carts and ours actually ran out of juice on the 11th hole. There seems to be a significant shortage of carts too as we had to wait for one at the start of the round. Please do t waste your money here as you will be severely disappointed. I wish I could write a better review but I simply can’t.

Played with a good group of people, the golf course was not all that. They need to mow the grass to even be remotely worth the round price. The staff were nice.

Overall have enjoyed this course in the past.

Currently their are no distinct fairways

You shouldn’t lose a ball in the middle of the faurway.

In another month with the maintenance they are doing the course will be back in amazing shape.
