About
Carved from 200 acres of mature forest along the Holland River just 40 minutes from downtown Toronto, Silver Lakes Golf & Country Club provides a scenic round reminiscent of those found in either Florida or the Carolinas. Neighbored by native wetlands, the golf course features water hazards on 12 holes. There are also treacherous, well placed bunkers coming into play on every hole. The par-3 third hole is notably challenging, in addition to being flanked by bunkers, it also requires a carry over a pond. Silver Lakes Golf & Country Club also features a unique seven-acre aqua driving range as well as three chipping and putting greens.

The course is very well organized for Covid. Remember to bring a mask for entering the pro-shop. Fairways and greens were consistent and in excellent condition. Good mix of holes with trees and some water hazards. Very enjoyable no matter what your skill level. Great course for the money!

Enjoy the challenge
Silver Lakes is one of my favourite golf courses in the GTA, it's a challenging parkland layout and it plays extra long due to the soft fairways which equal to no extra roll on your tee shots; and the wind is always seem to be in your face. The course is in great shape!

The trees and layout make for a challenging, day on course. keeping it in the fairway is a must. greens are true and in great shape.

Beautiful course
This course is gorgeous and is in great condition. Bit of a drive for me but totally worth it. Mosquitos though are a real hazard though so pack some bug spray. I actually forgot my 6 iron on one of the holes and didnt realize until a few days later when i went to play golf at another course. I called silver lakes and they had found my club and kept it aside for me. The staff are so welcoming, and the starter whos name i sadly cant recall is a real joker. Fun times cant wait to go back!
