About
Carved from 200 acres of mature forest along the Holland River just 40 minutes from downtown Toronto, Silver Lakes Golf & Country Club provides a scenic round reminiscent of those found in either Florida or the Carolinas. Neighbored by native wetlands, the golf course features water hazards on 12 holes. There are also treacherous, well placed bunkers coming into play on every hole. The par-3 third hole is notably challenging, in addition to being flanked by bunkers, it also requires a carry over a pond. Silver Lakes Golf & Country Club also features a unique seven-acre aqua driving range as well as three chipping and putting greens.

A fun challenge!
Beautiful setting, makes you feel like you’re in the Carolinas. Flat and easy to walk. Keep tee shots on the fairway to score well and avoid the mosquitos! Bar staff super friendly, but would be good to have beverage cart on course longer in such hot weather.
Nice track, great shape
Course was in great shape as they have kept the water on it through this heat wave. Greens a little faster than I remember, rolled nicely. Staff very nice and helpful! All COVID-19 precautions are done well with enough instruction to help you get to the tee with zero drama.

Always a Great Course to Play
I play Silver Lakes several times each year and it's always a pleasure. Great course layout and conditions, friendly staff, reasonable prices and good pace of play.
Chris and his team really do a good job of welcoming guests as if we are members. Brought two friends to the course for their first rounds there, and they were impressed and will be returning. I have to add a special note about the conditions this time around as the area is in the grips of a major drought and heat wave but Silver Lakes was is really good shape...fast and firm but the course still appeared lush and green and had a good rough height.

Course in great condition
Probably the hottest day of the year but the course was in great shape - especially the greens. Staffing was very helpful and pleasant in spite of having to explain the Covid-19 process to every golfer. Will definitely book again.

Silver Lakes is well designed and conditioned
Always enjoy playing here. Greens are small, irregular shaped and well protected. Need to play very well to score at Silver Lakes.

Canada day
Played here for first time on Canada day. Overall great day. Pace of play was good for how busy it was. Great staff, could really hold conversation which was nice. Will be back soon hopefully on a less hot day
Disappointed that a group was sent out before us while starter tried to pair us up with another twosome. We were ready to start on our scheduled t- time. This meant we had to follow a group that was slow and meant we had to wait on every shot. Would have preferred starting on our scheduled time.
Good afternoon,. It is difficult to know the specifics of what happened with your particular tee time without knowing the original tee time. On the date of play the course had no open tee times and twosomes would have been paired up for the most part. If you ended up playing as a twosome it would definitely have been a longer game. Hope that you played well and enjoyed the course.
