About
Carved from 200 acres of mature forest along the Holland River just 40 minutes from downtown Toronto, Silver Lakes Golf & Country Club provides a scenic round reminiscent of those found in either Florida or the Carolinas. Neighbored by native wetlands, the golf course features water hazards on 12 holes. There are also treacherous, well placed bunkers coming into play on every hole. The par-3 third hole is notably challenging, in addition to being flanked by bunkers, it also requires a carry over a pond. Silver Lakes Golf & Country Club also features a unique seven-acre aqua driving range as well as three chipping and putting greens.

this course has great features
This course is great for any level player, you can play it very long or short
Course doesn’t pair well with wet conditions. Lots of puddling
Great fall golf!!!
As usual the team at Silver Lakes were welcoming and started off our fantastic fall round with great positivity. Golf course for late fall was in really great shape. Greens keeping team were working their tails off blowing the leafs off the fairways and primary rough. Overall just a super “late” October round of golf at Silver Lakes. Hopefully maybe 1 or 2 nice November days are still to come. If they do, it will be Silver Lakes for me!
Very nice design
Conditions were excellent for this late in the season. A very good test at just over 6000 yards.

Well worth the money!
Well worth the money...and even better on a Golfnow Hot Deal! Excellent course conditions, lush fairways and greens in great shape (minus the mosquitoes on a previous time). Staff very friendly and helpful. Didn't stop afterwards to enjoy the clubhouse facilities however. Highly recommended.

Great all around golf experience
A good test of golf but fair for any skill level. There are enough tee boxes to make the course fun to play for anyone. My wife and I enjoyed the entire experience from the friendliness of the staff upon check in to the final putt on 18

Solid Test
Great layout. Fair and challenging. You need to drive the ball well, long and accurate from the tips to have a chance at a decent approach to small greens. Course runs along the Holland river it is lush, green and in very good shape. Tree's line many fairways. If you hit left/right often this course will destroy you. There are some real good birdie 4's and 5's. There are some very challenging 4's from the tips. Course is more than fairly priced. Play it and you will not be disappointed.

Fabulous conditions
Booked the course on a golfnow deal, and couldn’t believe how pristine the course was for the money paid! Manicured fairways, bunkers in great shape, and the course has some great variety of holes that’ll require all the shots you have in the bag. Only complaint was that the back 9 was pretty slow after a very good pace on the front 9. Cannot wait to play here again.

Best bang for the buck
Course is in great shape, fairways are like carpet,greens roll true and fairly quick. I don’t think there’s any courses in the area for 82$ with cart with these conditions

Worth the drive
Course in good shape for this time of year. Greens a little fast but then I like that. Decent pace, a little over four hours for the round. Main negative is that the course is very buggy

Perfectly Manicured Course
I have played Silver Lakes 5 times over the last 5 years and every time is a treat. Course is in excellent shape: greens were firm and fast, fairways were like mats, and everything was conditioned with detail. Played early in the morning and saw plenty of maintenance workers watering out there, but this was not an issue since it shows that management is willing to put money into keeping the course in excellent shape.
Went in for lunch after and the food was great at a price tough to beat ($60 for 3 of us, including a beer each).
The value of this course can't be beat anywhere in the GTA.

Course is in great shape - greens were fast!
Couldn't beat the pace of play - finished in 3.25hrs with a 7:09am tee time
