Silver Lakes Golf & Country Club
About
Carved from 200 acres of mature forest along the Holland River just 40 minutes from downtown Toronto, Silver Lakes Golf & Country Club provides a scenic round reminiscent of those found in either Florida or the Carolinas. Neighbored by native wetlands, the golf course features water hazards on 12 holes. There are also treacherous, well placed bunkers coming into play on every hole. The par-3 third hole is notably challenging, in addition to being flanked by bunkers, it also requires a carry over a pond. Silver Lakes Golf & Country Club also features a unique seven-acre aqua driving range as well as three chipping and putting greens.

Fantastic Fairway
The course is challenging and fair way is very
soft. So it is good for waking and playing
Enjoyable Course
The course is a hidden gem. It's out-of- the-way location means that it is not crowded. Course is in great shape. While flat the course offers many other challenges. Bring your straight sticks
very good layout course
everything is good but too much bugs so you bring
bug spray with you
Carolina appeal!
Always look forward coming back to Silver Lakes. It provides the Carolina's memories. Truly is one of the many gems within the GTA! If you've never played it, I would highly recommend it!
Silver Lakes In Great Shape
Course is challenging and tight. Greens are in excellent shape as are the fairways and bunkers. Don't go too far into the rough as it is pretty wet to the sides. Lots of bugs too, bring some Deep Woods or stogies with you. Watch out for the Skunk behind the 12th green at dusk!!
Always a pleasant experience at this course.
Marshall did not help slow play at all
Took us 5 hours to play. Group in front would not let us pass through and they had 2 holes open in front. Marshall came by 3 to 4 times and would not put us through. Ridiculous. It's a shame to have such a nice course and a Marshall like that.
Amazing course for the money.
Had a great rd at Silver Lakes yesterday. The course was in excellent condition! Only knock would have been so many black flys. But great course at a good price.
Gem in the woods
Nice course... very well kept and mature trees made for good experience.
Excellent course but rainy day.
Played the first 12 holes in a light rain which made the course play a little longer and slowed the greens somewhat but still a quality course worth the drive to play. No houses on this course and the layout is similar to a Carolina course with tree lined fairways and some tough greens. Will play here again for sure.
Great course and staff
Fun and challenging course. Even from the blue tees at around 6500 yards the tight fairways create a fun challenge.
Walking is also great
Great golf course, easy to walk or use a cart. Great staff.
Great course - play a little slow
course conditions excellent. pace of play ahead a little slow . behind a tournament that was slow on the green.
Definitely worth playing
Great place to play
With well manicured fairways and greens it really makes it an enjoyable round. Greens are tricky but soft. Over all a great place to play.
Good place
Nice place with friendly staff starting with the nice young man who takes your clubs out of your car to the lawn mowers that actually turn off the motors when your shooting. Course wasn't in the greatest shape but definitely playable. Played for $45 with cart through golf now and was happy with that.
Great course
Course was in great condition. Greens where tricky as each green had it's own speed. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Rate of play is good in the morning kinda slow in the afternoon. Played three rounds first one was completed in two and a half hours as the day got later rounds got slower. Overall great course would most definitely recommend this course.
Great condition for spring
Fairways are in great shape, roughs are thick. Some bare spots on the greens, but a lot better than others courses that I have played this year.
Nice course
Great morning on a beautiful couse.
Greens mostly in nice spring shape.
Bunkers manicured.
pace of play quite good considering the number of players.
silver lake- great twilight price
Silver Lake is a great one right above Newmarket. The staff are extremely friendly. My friend and I took a little to finish the full 18, the staff was still nice at the end of the day. However, the bar did close pretty early that day.
The course condition is really good even thought it was raining pretty hard the night before. Great green, nice fairway.
I am going to back to this one for sure
Mature course, picturesque
Great course to play for decent players. Plays tougher than it looks. Will definitely be back.
Can't believe they held GAO qualifying that day
I have played this course on several occasions so I knew what to expect but I was surprised with the poor condition of the course. They were holding GAO qualifying there the same day. So glad I didn't try to qualify there.
