About
Carved from 200 acres of mature forest along the Holland River just 40 minutes from downtown Toronto, Silver Lakes Golf & Country Club provides a scenic round reminiscent of those found in either Florida or the Carolinas. Neighbored by native wetlands, the golf course features water hazards on 12 holes. There are also treacherous, well placed bunkers coming into play on every hole. The par-3 third hole is notably challenging, in addition to being flanked by bunkers, it also requires a carry over a pond. Silver Lakes Golf & Country Club also features a unique seven-acre aqua driving range as well as three chipping and putting greens.

Great Early Season Day
Got an early morning Mother's Day tee time; that was impressive in itself. Really nice course and would have given much higher condition scores but it's still very early yet; greens were slower than usual.
In a few weeks, conditions will be excellent and hopefully the pace of play will continue to be a quick as today was.
Nice golf course, trees at both sides.
Autumn may hard to find your ball even located inside fairway due to so many falling leaves, overall this course has nice layout, will play again there in Summer time.
First game of 2014
I enjoyed playing this course as usual. Staff was friendly. Course condition was good after the severe winter weather. Congratulations to those taking care of it!
Excellent public course
One of the better public courses, can be a bit pricey but worth it.
Great staff !
The staff, starter and Marshall are probably some of the best in the GTA.
Beautiful course
It is a great course very nicely maintained. It is one of our favourites. It was very easy to book tee time through golf now and was seamless as though I called silver lake directly!
A nice all day play even in a rainy day
Silver lakes is always my dream to play for the autumn scenic enjoyment. Tree lined fairway on almost every hole, it's challenging and also nice to walk like in fall in a park.
My friend and I played all day, even this was a rainy day. It's really a nice play and we promised to come back next season.
Challenging and fun
Had a fantastic time and was pleased with my first visit there with my father. I'll be booking again for next week for myself.

Staffs are friendly, but the pace is slow and the putting greens need more care.

Course was in great shape. Greens were fast. Pace of play was good. Will definetly play this course again.
Very nice course
Course was in great condition. The side bushes have been trimmed on most holes, so that finding errant balls was much easier than other courses.
Review of Silver Lakes
Course is always in great shape; can be very damp in the spring though.
Greens are very challenging.
The course layout is such that it continues to maintian interset and challenge despite repeated playings.

Fast good greens,great fairways, great walking course.
After playing many good courses with slow greens (which seems to be the trend now) ,its a pleasure to play a course like this with faster ,true rolling greens.You can not find a bad lie on any fairway. All the holes are tree or water lined ,and require a good variety of shots that must be straight and on the fairway.To walk this course is a pleasure .The staff ,all of them ,are very friendly and accommodating.

Other than being a windy freezing day,course was in great shape. Played in 4 hours as a foursome. Good thing is on a very windy day tree lined fairways protect you in most cases.

First time playing this course and although it rained we played all 18 holes because we loved the shape of the course.There was no cart girl because of the rain so the marshall asked what we wanted and he would get it us.He said no problem and a hole later there he was coffees delivered.Very nice of even with the bad weather.
all courses are excellent to enjoy to play..
each holes are like pictures. i took some of holes to put in to my camara to review it.. when i have chance to back to there play again..so great....
Decent track
Overall decent course. Had no played it since high school. I would play it again but not at the regular price.
