Legends on the Niagara is home to several entertaining golf courses that appeal to players of all skill levels, This unique complex is home to two championship golf courses, a nine-hole course, and a unique 18-hole putting course. The Battlefield Course is one of the 18-hole, championship courses, so named because of the facility's location on the hallowed grounds of the legendary Battle of Chippewa during the War of 1812. The layout features an impressive man-made lake that spans nearly 20 acres and comes into play on at least four holes. The 13th hole is particularly notable for its spectacular view of Niagara Falls in the distance.

Great condition
The course played like it was its first year. From tee to green perfect condition. Great job on course conditions
Classic course along the Niagara
The Battlefield and Ussher course layouts are spectacular for the Niagara region. The drive in to the clubhouse from the Upper Niagara River - is great and starts off the round in style!
Water water everywhere
Great conditions, great challenge (lots of water and always on the right side). Added bonus if you like history, a battle in the war of 1812 was fought alongside the course, thus the name.
Battlefield
It was a bit chilly but the course was still beautiful. Greens were flawless. It was cart path only so a lot of walking to shots but it kept you warm.
BEST VALUE IN NIAGARA
I rate this course the 4th best in NIAGARA. Only behind GRAND NIAGARA, PENINSULA LAKES, and 20 VALLEY. But those courses are $40 and up. When you can play on a hot deal for under $20. This is the course you want to play. Hope you all had a good year. All the best in 2020 ☺

had a great day for this time of year , nice , a little windy
cart path only , dont like this however understand course management
slow play an issue but didnt let that bother my good day out with a friend
Good value for the money
Course in very good condition. They are working on the traps to make them better. Hopefully the course shape will be as nice as GRAND NIAGARA.
Best Conditions Ever
Tee to Green, hole by hole, todays conditions were the best of the year at Battlefield. 8:38 tee time, 9:00am tee off due to very light frost. Our 3some played in 3hrs 50min. The greens were very fast and rolled true as ever. For $65 driving there couldn’t have been better value in Niagara today. Don’t say no to Battlefield if your looking to squeeze in some fantastic fall play.
Perfect mid summer conditions
Greens were fast and perfect . Fairways were also top notch. Staff is extremely friendly
Great Track, Great Conditions, Great Time!!!
I found the course to play very fair. We played from the White Tees and I found there was plenty of opportunity to achieve par. The sand was well groomed. The greens ran true and a very fair speed.
The staff I found to be very professional and helpful. The amenities were first rate and there was ample parking.
One of the Very Best Golf Courses in the Region, for sure.

Great course not so cooperative wind
We were off earlier than our scheduled tee time.
Starter had us play back 9 of Usher and paid for Battlefield., did not know it was Usher, we corrected ourselves on front 9 and played Battlefield.
Challenging and a beautiful course, first time was tricky with some of the pin locations.
Overall enjoyable and will return on a less windy day.
