Legends on the Niagara is home to several entertaining golf courses that appeal to players of all skill levels, This unique complex is home to two championship golf courses, a nine-hole course, and a unique 18-hole putting course. The Battlefield Course is one of the 18-hole, championship courses, so named because of the facility's location on the hallowed grounds of the legendary Battle of Chippewa during the War of 1812. The layout features an impressive man-made lake that spans nearly 20 acres and comes into play on at least four holes. The 13th hole is particularly notable for its spectacular view of Niagara Falls in the distance.

Excellent Day Excellent Course
Booked course through GolfNow within 2 hours not on HotDeals, as the morning was excellent weather. I am always stoked to play Battlefield. The greens were quick so you need great touch. The fairways were a little wet so course management is crucial. The rough is just long enough to be tricky but not impossible. Many times on this course the wind is blowing causing havoc, but the grounds crew takes that into account when setting the tee boxes. There can be some really tricky pins however and this can lead to definite 3 putt locations. All in all a great day.
Seeing is believing...
A great Facility Legends on the Niagara is. Two Championship golf courses. An executive golf course, a 360 degree driving range.
An excellent Wedding, and Banquet Facility. Very Picturesque and Scenic, with ample parking and a very Professional staff.
Well worth the trip!!!

Perfect Day for Golf
Course is in great shape. The usual ball marks not repaired on the green, but that's par for public courses. Lots of sand traps and some water make it interesting for both high and low handicap golfers. The scenery is great. Cart person came by regularly. Friendly rangers. It was a great experience. Like this course better than Ushers Creek.
Good experience
Very friendly staff. Big and fast greens. Good value for money. The course isn’t that memorable, but gets tricky on the greens. What’s weird, that I made the biggest divots ever. The grass is just a thin layer on top of the soil and peels away like nothing. Would play it again.
Slow pace of play, overbooked
The course was nice however it was overbooked. The staff at the halfway house were less than helpful. We were first time golfers at this course and received no direction as to where to check in, or even where to find the 1st tee. Our clubs were put on carts and the communication stopped there. The number 1 tee once we found it had two groups playing already on it & two groups (us being one of them) waiting to tee off. Our tee off time was 3:24 at 7:30 we had managed to finish 14 holes and quite due to darkness. There was no marshal on the course to speed up the pace of play. We had to wait at every hole to tee off. After nine two of the 4 that were playing in front of us so we joined up with the two that were left. It still didn't help.
The server in the beer cart did however was quite friendly and did an excellent job.
Everything was great besides the amount of hallmarks on the green.Some more than others but its obvious that this is a public course and it doesn't have many members
Great course, great weather, great time
Perfect day. Played as a twosome, quick. Fairways hard - lots of roll. Greens true. Sand good. remains one of the best choices in the region. Played white/green tees which is good for older gentlemen who no longer have the distance. Makes for more pars and occasional birdies.
Battled the Battlefield
Bag Drop area is clever , with a ride to the Car Park included ! Fairways are generous , with clever positioning of the many bunkers . Greens ran about 11 , with minor blemishes on the short Par 3's and the long Par 5's ( normal) . Superb variety of hole architecture . Will be back !

Weather perfect but for the wind but it wasn't terrible....good time wished I had slowed my swing down in the front 9 like I had in the bk 9
