Legends on the Niagara is home to several entertaining golf courses that appeal to players of all skill levels, This unique complex is home to two championship golf courses, a nine-hole course, and a unique 18-hole putting course. The Battlefield Course is one of the 18-hole, championship courses, so named because of the facility's location on the hallowed grounds of the legendary Battle of Chippewa during the War of 1812. The layout features an impressive man-made lake that spans nearly 20 acres and comes into play on at least four holes. The 13th hole is particularly notable for its spectacular view of Niagara Falls in the distance.

I found the white tees to be very fair for a bogey golfer.
Great Course But Had Problems Coming Out of Winter
I love both Battlefield and Legends. Tee box, fairways and sand traps are all in great shape, but greens are terrible. I've never seen greens here like this, as there is a form of weed growing on all the greens. I saying that, the ball rolls pretty good.
Thank you for the feedback. The spots you see on the green is called Poa annua. In the spring it seeds which are the spots you currently see. Luckily it'll be under control soon.
Challenging distinct holes throughout
One of 3 18 hole public courses run by Niagara Parks. Battlefield is my favorite with #9 & #18 siding on water for their entire length.
Lots of sand traps and undulating greens. Huge practice areas with practice balls included in fees.

Too early in season for proper drainage
This is a great course but because the ground about 6 inches down is still frozen the recent rain we had pooled on the surface so every shot was a muck shot. For $15 bucks cart included though, you couldn't beat this deal with a stick....or a nine iron
Great deal! The course has drained very well now that we've finally had some warm temperatures and wind. Hopefully we'll see you again now that Spring decided to arrive!

Another Great Niagara Course
In all fairness being late fall and having heavy rains the day before playing I would still say it was a fun round. Always a pleasure to be able to play a Legends course.

Difficult day
Was quite cold on this day and the course was very wet, saturated in some places and a bit of a mud bowl. Just that time of year.
November was definitely a cold and wet month. Hopefully you can come visit us next season when it's a lot warmer!
Got a hot deal for $25 with cart but second last day for crse till closed for season. Had a great time and will be back next year when it is warmer. Over the 18 holes used almost every club as you have to play statigic to avoid the bunkers and water. Great deal!

Great golf course
One of the best golf courses Niagara parks has to offer. If you are in Niagara Falls Ontario Canada it is a must to play. Great staff

Great course and Best Value in Golf Now
8 of us diehards decided 8DegC was nice enough for a game of golf. We were right! Although cool, the course was in excellent condition for this time of year. Too wet for carts so cart path only which slowed play a bit. As always Tee to green was a lot of fun, no roll so playing from the whites might have been a better idea. All in all this is truly a great course, can’t wait to get back on her in the spring!!
