About
The Ussher's Creek Course at Legends on the Niagara is one of two championship courses at this unique complex, which is also home to a nine-hole course and a unique, 3-acre, 18-hole putting course. The meandering creek after which the golf course is named, snakes through a number of holes, making pinpoint accuracy a necessity. The scenic layout, which borders the Niagara River, features tree-lined fairways and tall, thick fescue rough. There are also wetland hazards coming into play throughout. Doglegs, well placed bunkers, and prevailing wind are all challenging elements that come into play but generous fairways add a player-friendly touch to the Ussher's Creek course at Legends on the Niagara.

Extra cart charge
Realizing we are in a pandemic, the extra 40.00 charge for a cart is wrong.
Beautiful & busy
Course is flat & wide but enough problems to keep your attention. There has been encouragement to walk the course but you are really following the cart path for the most part; no real “short cuts” (walker’s paths) between holes. Audubon Society status may have something to do with that - fair enough.
Last two holes on each nine (# 8, 9, 17, 18) are strong finishing holes for each half.
5 hours to finish the round (?!)
Love Ussher's Creek
I've played Ussher's Creek on several occasions. The turf crew has done a fantastic job all season. I love the course and when that wind is up, several Par 4's magically turn into Par 4.5's. Love the false fronts, the green speeds although they were slower on Sept 2nd.
The Starter/Bag Drop personnel are friendly and engaging. The guy in the halfway house is miserable and the staff in the Pro Shop are cyborgs and lack personality.
Wonderful Course
We had an excellent day playing Ussher’s Creek today. Course was very challenging and in excellent condition. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We got out to start our round very promptly. Pace of play was very good today. A thoroughly enjoyable day at a beautiful course. We will definitely be back
Great day!
Course conditions were perfect. Tees, fairways and greens were in perfect condition.
The parking lot is a long way from the 1st -T. A shuttle would be great but maybe it’s the COVID conditions that make this hard to do. Also the starter and the pro shop are not close therefore not convenient. Small things for sure and certainly not enough of an issue to cast a shadow on a great day of golf.
Usshers Creek
To be fair it was good as we are in Covid mode. Staff was great. Pace of play was terrible. Five and a half hour round. Marshall should of told three people who were holding up play to pick up their ball and move to the next hole as they had the whole course backed up. There are a lot of people golfing now who have never before for something to do. Greens were good, fairways were getting a little tattered. Overall for a tourist area and a course with a lot of play it was good not great.
Slow Play
Pace of play was very slow. Group ahead of us waited for the group ahead of them to get on the green before they teed off on par fours and par fives. We spoke to them about it and they got belligerent. There was no Marshall and after nine I spoke to someone at the clubhouse and they said it wasn't their job. I like this course but will not be back until they get some order on the course.
Amazing courses at legends!
Both ushers creek, and battlefield are in fantastic shape! Greens are quick and true, and the fairqays and tee boxes are in great shape! Its amazing what watering a golf course can do LOL! One of the best conditioned public courses around!
Good Day
I have played this course many times over the years and have found it to be in really good condition this year. Have alwats enjoyed this course, particularly the Ushers Creek layout, quite challenging.
