Legends on the Niagara Golf Course - Ussher's Creek
About
The Ussher's Creek Course at Legends on the Niagara is one of two championship courses at this unique complex, which is also home to a nine-hole course and a unique, 3-acre, 18-hole putting course. The meandering creek after which the golf course is named, snakes through a number of holes, making pinpoint accuracy a necessity. The scenic layout, which borders the Niagara River, features tree-lined fairways and tall, thick fescue rough. There are also wetland hazards coming into play throughout. Doglegs, well placed bunkers, and prevailing wind are all challenging elements that come into play but generous fairways add a player-friendly touch to the Ussher's Creek course at Legends on the Niagara.

Excellent
obviously with covid19 precautions the amenities weren't fully accessible but the course was in tremendous shape and the facilities appear to be top notch. I would 100% recommend this course to anyone.
Great Greens
Great day on Usshers Creek. Greens are smooth and good speed. The pin system used is also well done. A combined foam/ pvc insert that lets the ball fall in but not so visible while making the putt. Other courses just use foam and the ball pops in and out at times which never happened at Usshers Creek. Did a replay on Battlefield, greens smooth but a tad slower. The rough was much higher on battlefield vs Usshers Creek which made it a premium to hit fairways and greens. My guess it’s because Battlefield opened more recently and they haven’t had a chance to cut? My only knock against the course is the many long distances between holes. It’s definitely more cart friendly than walker. Overall I definitely recommend!
Excellent protocols in place
Legends on the Niagara continues to impress. My buddy & I were able to play Ussher's Creek as a twosome, which is much preferred especially given COVID-19. Check-in was very well organized. The course was in excellent condition, though extremely wet from heavy rainfall the previous day. All in all, one of the best golf facilities in the province in my opinion.
Burlington
Always worth the drive down from Burlington.....even during the apocalypse!!!!
Course and greens in great shape
Staff nice as usual.....
Missed the 19th hole on the patio.....ridiculous and thank the government for making life miserable for the 99% of the Canadian population that are completely healthy!!!!
Thank god for golf and the outdoors..

Well worth the $$$$
Course was pretty wet after the storm the night before but Usheers Creek drains very well. Pretty happy with the course as a whole but need to solve the sand traps not being raked . Not a good look for the course.
The course was in great shape today other then the roughs which needed to be cut. pace of was nothing to complain about. We paid the walking price and arrived and there was at least 20 carts available to use if we wanted to pay the cart fee which was great.
Covid perfect.
We had the chance to play ushers on a somewhat rainy day but the back nine was fantastic. The whole course is in great shape. Greens are much better than any other courses in Hamilton or Toronto given this time of the year and the Covid issues. Wonderful pace great team enjoyed the day will be back very soon.
Covid round
Rainy morning so course was empty. Finished the round in 4 hours with a 15 min break at 9 ( 2 guys in seperate carts, 2 walking). Fairways were soggy, greens were super tough to read and were pretty unresponsive through alot of breaks but still in excellent shape for the time of year. Worth the hour drive from Etobicoke.
COVID-19 Round
It was a rainy day so not many on the course. No off-course amenities as its pretty much shut down from COVID-19 rules. Course is in great shape, however no rakes for the sand traps, and they have a miniature pool noodle in the hole so your ball doesn't go down far, makes it easier to get out without touching the flag. No carts out yet. No ball washers or beverage cart. Not allowed. But still enjoyed the round. Would recommend to friends.
Forced carry
As you would expect in Canada, super friendly staff. Awesome course, a lot of forced carries on the approach, very challenging. If you are in the area make every effort to play here.
spectacular
the course was in great shape for this time of year. greens were not aerrated and they were fast. tricky pins places made a great challenge
Nice course
The course is challenging but fair, depending on the tee box selected. The course was very well taken care of. The greens were fast and in good condition. A little pricey but found a good deal on golfnow. I would play the course again but only if I found a good deal again.
always worth the drive
... course conditions are always good and the greens are always true. good mix of challenge, risk-reward and bail-out options. when done with your round the clubhouse is a golfer's clubhouse - good views of holes and the food quality / prices are decent for that location.
