Legends on the Niagara Golf Course - Ussher's Creek

We play this facility 5-6 times a year and are never disappointed.

First time playing Legends Ussher's Creek Course-- in great shape, fair-but-challenging, beautiful scenery and fast pace of play! Great value.

Played Legends-Usshers Creek and enjoyed the experience. Practice area well maintained albeit removed some distance from 1st Tee. Course in beautiful shape and well marked. From the whites found the 6184 yards to be perfect length for us senior golfers. Only minor point was that the greens were inconsistent in speed. Otherwise a great experience. Will be back!

final round to our boys golf weekend in Niagara. Course was not busy at all flew around. In decent shape great layout nice track which can bite you if not careful. Will come back for sure.

I have played the Legends Golf Facility for a few years now. My Golf Experience is always excellent.

I find the staff extremely professional and courteous. The staff I find is very efficient and very well trained.

My first introduction to the course is in the Pro Shop, from the managers Curtis and Mike, to the Pro Shop professionals Mark and Corbin; I find they are all very approachable and personable.

The Ushers Creek course is professionally laid out and sculpted out of the gently rolling terrain.

There are four levels of golf, where a golfer can tee up from the Gold, Blue, White or Red Tees. The Gold tees being the furthest back.

Some fairways are wider than others, but the course plays very fair, and I played from the White tees, my score is around 90-low 90's,and the course play is more challenging the further back on the teeing area a golfer tees the ball up.

The course is dotted with fairway, and green-side bunkers. Some bunkers are deeper than others, and the greens are large and accessible.

The greens are undulating but they run true, and I find that two putting is achievable, from wherever I am on the green. I find the greens fast, well positioned and immaculately manicured.

The Golf Course Superintendent, along with the greens keepers and the course staff, do an excellent job in keeping the course in excellent shape, whenever I go for a game of golf there, and I must say I golf there as often as I can, I live in Niagara.

The entire course is lush, very green with thick but fair rough.

I find the Ushers Creek Golf Course an excellent test of golf. And I would definitely recommend giving the 18 Championship Hole Ushers Creek Course a try. As well as the 18 Championship hole Battlefield Course equally as challenging, as well as the challenging 9 hole Executive Chippawa Courses, at the Legends on the Niagara Facility, is well worth a visit.

The pace of play is approximately 4 hours and 15 minutes for 18 holes, on a busy day, give or takes a few minutes, depending on your tee time, and that is on both Ushers Creek and the Battlefield Courses.

There is a first class teaching academy, a 360 degree driving range, a chipping and putting green, as well as a very large and undulating practice putting green, prior to your round.

The restaurant which has the pro shop in front, is World Class, and I am not trying to overstate the beauty of the pro shop, restaurant and banquet facility, made of stone and there are impressive wood beams that come all the way from South Africa, if my memory serves me correct.

The entire facility is well laid out with ample, and convenient parking, with shuttle buggies running much of the day to pick up the golfers, from your car, if desired.

I can honestly say this course is a World Class golfing experience, from the staff, the golf courses, to the teaching and dining facilities, I would highly recommend the Legends on the Niagara (Niagara Falls) Golf Facility a must golfing visit, when you are in the Niagara Area, you will not be pleasantly surprised.

This course is always in great shape just can be very pricey.

Course is good but has a few tricks for 1st time player. Strange part is no one available at bag drop, parking is quarter mile away from cart loading including handicap spots. Driving range a mile away. When starter did show up he didn't seem interested in doing much of anything to assist players. Back to course. Overall condition quite good, greens were true and fairway nice.

Handicap 12. Senior

I have played Ussher's, Battlefield, and Whirlpool. All are good. To me, Ussher's is the best of the 3, but Battlefield is a close second.

I have golfed at Usher's Creek before and have always had a good time until Aug 6,2016. My 9 year old son and I had just finished playing a 9 hole at Chippawa and I was then playing an 18 hole at Usher's Creek I was at the 14th hole and the staff brought the police to me and said I was drunk they upset my son so I gave them my key's to my Van until I was done ,I never had an ounce of alcohol all day. They insisted that I was drunk because my eyes were blood shot I had just finished working a 12 hour shift on Friday had hardly any sleep and I was up at 4 in the morning hunting for a golf time for my son and I to play. They wouldn't give me my key's so I insisted on a breathalizer test the one police officer kept on saying if I blow over I loose my licence for 3 days I was not worried because I had NO ALCOHOL When I finished the test and they found out I pasted with NO ALCOHOL the officer that give me the test gave me a high five the other officer was very mad gee I proved him and the staff at Usher's Creek WRONG ...but I want you to know that the officer and Usher Creek staff said you can go there and golf get drunk as long as your son isn't with you but you can drive away drunk . I will never golf at Usher's Creek and Battlefield again ....they made me feel stupid in front of a bunch of ppl that were at a wedding and they really upset my son I asked my son to go golfing this morning and ( my son said to me I won't go golfing with you today so you can have a beer that is so sad.

The gentleman that work's at Chippawa is a great person I will always golf there and Whirlpool two great courses I don't recommend Usher's Creek and Battlefield

Began as a father / son two some. Play was slowed by inexperienced foursome ahead with handicap flag on one cart. So slow two some behind joined us. Complained to ranger and told we were on schedule. Beautiful course but 5.5 hours is just too long.

Conditions great very changelling must play good shots

We played Battlefield. Loved the course which was in great shape despite the drought. Some pretty tough holes though and since we didn't know the course that well, we found it difficult to know how to play some holes. We had the course to ourselves.....awesome.

I haven't played this course in 5 years and I only wish I remembered how good it is because I would now love to play this course every week if I could! Great layout, expertly maintained, and the greens were pure and rolled perfectly. Early morning tee time led to a round in under 3 hours. Although I live in the U.S. and have to travel 45 minutes to get here, I already plan on coming back next week. I love that they have another course called Battlefield and I plan on playing 36 holes(both courses) as the replay rate is only $30 during the week. Highly recommend this course! It is one of the best.

Always a great course to play...has good challenge to several holes ....9 and 18 are great holes ....need that great drive down the middle with some distance.

Course in s great shape, good fast greens.

The course was in excellent shape, the weather was hot and very muggy. We wrer teamed up with anotther twosome and we all had a good round. Green wre quite fast.
