About
The Ussher's Creek Course at Legends on the Niagara is one of two championship courses at this unique complex, which is also home to a nine-hole course and a unique, 3-acre, 18-hole putting course. The meandering creek after which the golf course is named, snakes through a number of holes, making pinpoint accuracy a necessity. The scenic layout, which borders the Niagara River, features tree-lined fairways and tall, thick fescue rough. There are also wetland hazards coming into play throughout. Doglegs, well placed bunkers, and prevailing wind are all challenging elements that come into play but generous fairways add a player-friendly touch to the Ussher's Creek course at Legends on the Niagara.

Ushers, June 24, t-time 2:55
For the weather conditions and its been very dry the course was in good shape but the pace of Play was horrible it was the 2nd longest game i had ever been involved with. Two seasons ago at Hunters point we had a round of 5.5 hours....Yesterday our round took 5 hours and 4 minutes, ridiculous. Our 4-some all came out at different times in the round and said that it would be our last round here on a Friday. Yet we played at Legends twice last week and our rounds were spectacular w/r to times slowest was 3 hours and 45 minutes for a 3 some and one was a young lady who shot from the reds and we played the whites. The other was 4 hr. and 13 minutes.
Great Time
Took my husband - was his first time playing this course - he thoroughly enjoyed it - looking forward to returning.

good value
cold and windy weather prevented us from enjoying the course to its full potential but the tees, fairways and greens were in good condition considering how early it is yet in the season.
Sorry to hear about the cool conditions. Hopefully you'll get a chance to play down our way again this summer!
Great Golf Courae
I played this course for the first time in over two seasons and it was a very enjoyable but difficult round. Firstly, the fairways were immaculate and the bunkers ( which I hit a few) were the best in the Niagara Region I have seen in a long time!! Very similar set up as The Whirlpool GC but more twists and turns. I thoroughly enjoyed the greens although the pin placements were Sunday at the U.S. Open. There was a big tournament that morning...we were the last ones out before the tournament so it was one of the most enjoyable rounds I've had in a long time!!! Very serene, staff was great.

Great Conditions
My foursome has played Ussher's Creek or Battlefield once or twice a year for many years. - would come more often but 230 kms round-trip is a deterrent.
Course conditions good to excellent except for sand traps which are a little thin. Layout good, interesting mix of holes. Hot Deals from GolfNow was excellent, making this a very good value outing.

ushers creek
It was an excellent weather day and had been dry and hot for at least a week with just a tiny bit of rain the night before my round. The course is in good condition not dried out or hard got true distance on shots. Lots of trees on the course and some water hazards. Very rustic background. The greens were a little bit fast and in generally good shape. Most of the fairways are generous and most greens a good size. It is definately a decent test for mid range talent golfers. A great outing. I played alone for the first time ever and started at 2:20 and finished before 5 very very fast pace. Loved it.

Ussher's is the hidden gem at Legends
Ussher's Creek is quite simply an amazing golf course. The course winds through tight treelines at times and at other times opens up into a links style golf experience. Battlefield gets more play but I believe that Ussher's is a bit more challenging and that it is very fun and rewarding to play.

First Time Out This Year
Friendly Staff, Course is in good condition, although some of the greens were covered in Goose feces which makes putting difficult. Teed off at 4:00PM so the facilities closed shortly afterward and there was no cart girl, otherwise would rate the off-course amenities higher. Got a hot deal from Golf Now so the value was excellent. Finished in 3 hours. A great time was had by all.

Always great golf in Niagara Parks
Myself and 7 buddies went out for a round and the course was in great shape. Never had to wait. Staff was great. Great practise faculty. All round great day. We will be back very soon. Ussher's creek killed a lot of us so we will go back to playing Battlefield. Lol.

Great Day of Golfing with Friends
We weren't disappointed coming back to play Ussher's Creek again this year. We had played with our friends there last year for the first time and we enjoyed it so much that we said we'd make sure we got back this year.
The course was in good condition. Greens were challenging.
The staff that we had contact with were all very friendly and helpful. Out on the course a cart came by often to ask if we needed any refreshments too.

Great Condition
The course was as good as I expected for mid May.
It would be nice if fellow golfers would repair divots is the only criticism I have.

Great test of golf
This golf course will challenge every level of player. Be sure to play the tees that suit your length. Blue tees play longer than the 6700 yds. on the scorecard because of the wind.
Great advice, #18 is a challenging finish. Never a bad idea to take an extra club into that approach. See you again soon.

Went as a single and got paired up with 2 great guys.Very lush conditions for early May.Nice layout and friendly staff.Great deal on Golfnow made it an enjoyable day.

Course has only been open for about 1 week and condition was very good. I was impressed with the condition of the greens for this time of the season.

Seaview Stay & Play Golf Package
Thank you for the feedback. We are always conscious of the pace of play and as you mentioned our speed is usually 4 - 4 1/2 hours. Sorry it was a little slower on Friday. This isn't our typical pace but sometimes a sold out day can lead to slower times late in the afternoon.
