Save Royal Vista
Played East & South on a wed @1200. Pace was amazing. Greens are in good condition, but some are very difficult. The south course is much more narrow and all on hillsides. East is wide open compared to south. I’d played again for the price
Money Grab
At this point they are just trying to milk every dollar before they close down. Let off two 5somes ahead of us. 6 hour round. Disappointing because I really used to enjoy this course.
Terrible overall
We had people pushing us who were rude. We were also behind a slow group so we hit when we could. Called the Marshall and they didn't do anything.
Done in 4.5 hours
I was shocked that we finished in 4.5 hours on a weekend. If only the Marshall caught the group that was video recording every other shot they took, we would’ve finished earlier. Still good for a Saturday. I think the heat prevented the weekend warriors from playing. Fairways are in decent shape and the greens are well maintained. Pro Shop staff was super friendly and courteous. The twilight fee was on the high side @ $55, maybe they should lower it to $45-50. We will be back in the near future.
Bad Conditions
Horrible slope of the greens and hole positioning. A birdie putt should not rim out and then roll off the green and down a hill simply because of the slope of the green. Good courses reward golfers when they make great shots, not punish them.
Add it to the rotation- good value for money
Greens are amazing. There’s a liquor store/ snack bar that’s amazing. Tees are level. Decent fairways. They take of the stuff that matters. Pace of play could use help.
All good, need a Marshall. Fun place to play. Excellent value
Pace of play was very slow!!! There. Was a 5 - some in front of us, 2 some in front of them and another very slow foursome in. Front of them. No Marshall was monitoring the entire round. Took 5 1/2 hours to play course. Terrible!
