About
Winchester Golf Club is a short and sweet 5,200 yards from the tips. Those looking for length will have to go elsewhere, but if you want a quick round, this course can be played in less than four hours. The course is situated among Brooklin's gently rolling hills, which are covered by forests that are part of the Oak Ridges Moraine. The player-friendly layout is ideal for beginners. It is also a great place for kids to learn how to play. The golf course is not difficult by any means but it provides good practice. There are a few challenges spread throughout, including a fair number of bunkers bordering the greensides. Its forgiving nature and risk-reward opportunities make it a great place for golf tournaments as well.

Risk reward course
I always like playing Winchester it’s a risk reward course and I have always enjoyed that.
good course worth playing
challenging yet not a long course. if the course had clearly marked signs as to the direction of each hole, I would have enjoyed it more. It deserves a 4-star rating, but for the above-mentioned reasons.

This golf course although not long, is very challenging,
Lots of short blinds hole is fun- Value for the money is worth the hour drive from our location.
Slight issue with tee off area’s
The placement of tee off blocks caused confusion of the correct yardage to greens . Also was disappointed that the ball wash stations have been removed. From all the hole tees.
Nice little golf course badly needed tidying
First time playing here.
The washroom was smelly and poorly lighted.
Direction between holes was un-clear and there was little signage.
Peoples were paying single and twosomes causing unnecessary delay.
Goose poop on the twelve green making it not puttable.
A short course in general with some fun / challenging holes.
Good for beginner.
Flip flops
I was surprised to see people playing in flip flops, i have played in many countries but this course was shocking.
No marshalls on the course to control the pace.
Group ahead of my goursome were playing with 3 balls each.
No cousre etiquettes and the staff did not seem to care.
FLIP FLOPS are you kidding me.
