About
Winchester Golf Club is a short and sweet 5,200 yards from the tips. Those looking for length will have to go elsewhere, but if you want a quick round, this course can be played in less than four hours. The course is situated among Brooklin's gently rolling hills, which are covered by forests that are part of the Oak Ridges Moraine. The player-friendly layout is ideal for beginners. It is also a great place for kids to learn how to play. The golf course is not difficult by any means but it provides good practice. There are a few challenges spread throughout, including a fair number of bunkers bordering the greensides. Its forgiving nature and risk-reward opportunities make it a great place for golf tournaments as well.

First time, would came back.
Got a Golf now deal, made it worth the drive to Oshawa. Course was in great shape, except for a few tee boxes, which were pretty rough. Greens were good, quick, sizable. Fun elevation changes, challenges. I recommend a cart for most people, especially in the heat.
Fun time
Course looked great. I didn’t shoot a good game. But that’s not the courses fault. lol
Enjoyed the round. A little slow pace but it’s to be expected at times.
Bring a helmet
Pro shop folks were nice, cart girl was friendly, the staff was as good as can be expected.
It is a shorter course so I expected an easier round. The course is challenging, with lots of elevation changes. Felt like every green was top of a hill or bottom of it. You have to be more precise with your distances. The course is ess forgiving than a longer course that is more open.
On the other hand, the course layout is done on a way where you're always in danger of getting hit. I haven't heard fore yelled so many times on a single round ever.
That being said, I'd play again.
A most enjoyable experience
First outing this year for my wife and I and we were reluctant to golf with others. We were allowed to tee off ahead of scheduled time as we were ready and no one on the tee blocks. At the last moment we were asked if someone could join us. We agreed and we thoroughly enjoyed playing with a very polite and personable young gentleman.
The cart girl was very polite and helpful to address our lunch requests. We will be back!

Excellent game. Great condition of the course. No complaints.
Completely enjoyed the round. Had my best score so far this year.
