About
Winchester Golf Club is a short and sweet 5,200 yards from the tips. Those looking for length will have to go elsewhere, but if you want a quick round, this course can be played in less than four hours. The course is situated among Brooklin's gently rolling hills, which are covered by forests that are part of the Oak Ridges Moraine. The player-friendly layout is ideal for beginners. It is also a great place for kids to learn how to play. The golf course is not difficult by any means but it provides good practice. There are a few challenges spread throughout, including a fair number of bunkers bordering the greensides. Its forgiving nature and risk-reward opportunities make it a great place for golf tournaments as well.

Nice little course
The course is quite short but it was in pretty good condition and the price was right.
Pace of play + no course control
They send you out 5-10 mins after other groups.. ppl shooting while on the green, terrible experience
Fun for what it is
It's a bit run down, very dangerous layout ie: criss crossing everywhere, fun non-the-less.
Course layout is very dangerous
First time playing this course on a Sunday morning. Unbelievably busy.
The course layout from a players perspective is ok, however, from the safety perspective, it’s ridiculously dangerous.
Almost every fairway (second shot) was in the tee off zone of another hole, me and my playing partner had at least 9-10 balls that landed near us from the other tee. No one really call fore neither, I don’t blame them because they probably can’t see us.
The course is relatively short, which leads to another problem, you are not ‘allowed’ to tee off until the group in front of you is off the green. Therefore the pace of play is guarantee to be slow.
The surprise to this course is, you actually get to see a lot of salmon swimming along the lake.
But for my personal safety, I probably would not come back to this course.
Course has been poorly maintained
Proshop staff was not friendly. Majority of cart path were not evenly surfaced, slippery and pretty unsafe in wet weather condition.

Greens and fairways in good shape; pathways not
Washroom (men's anyway) need maintaining
Obscure Course
The greens were good surprisingly. The fairways were decent. The course layout is very tight so beware for bad shots next to you The tee boxes were in very rough shape . It’s a very short course. It wasn’t awful but not great. I won’t be back but I did enjoy the pair I was with.
Done a lot of work on sand traps
Nice to see traps in decent shape. Would play again
A good surprise
Didn't expect the course to be this exciting with narrow fairways and undulations. Great value for the money. Definitely will come back again.
Layout
Almost got hit by a few balls today, they need to change around the layout otherwise people are going to get hurt
