About
Winchester Golf Club is a short and sweet 5,200 yards from the tips. Those looking for length will have to go elsewhere, but if you want a quick round, this course can be played in less than four hours. The course is situated among Brooklin's gently rolling hills, which are covered by forests that are part of the Oak Ridges Moraine. The player-friendly layout is ideal for beginners. It is also a great place for kids to learn how to play. The golf course is not difficult by any means but it provides good practice. There are a few challenges spread throughout, including a fair number of bunkers bordering the greensides. Its forgiving nature and risk-reward opportunities make it a great place for golf tournaments as well.

very dry
They seem to have forgotten about water, was so dry most t boxes were impossible to get a t into the ground.
Won't be going back sadly.
In need of water
Very dry conditions.
Almost all T boxes are so dry pushing a t was next to impossible.
80% of the fairways are hard and dry.
It's a good layout for golf, I like the place but most likely it won't be on my play list for the rest of this year
The course is very interesting
The club house needs upgrading, the staff were very friendly
Greek Ruined
Great day for golf. We were having a great game until some unruly group of men starting playing music and driving while we were still on the green. When asked to stop driving they began argue and wouldnt stop. Day was ruined.

I used to play here over twenty years ago..I don't know why I waited so long to come back.

A little bit regretful is that I am supposed to have power cart included, but no power cart is available due to large rain in the night before. I am just wondering whether Golfnow could give me a small credit for the missing power cart? Thank you anyway for your help! Perry
Good Value Short Course
We got a good rate on Golfnow with a cart on Labour Day for $50.
Whoever laid out the course made maximum use of the available space. However, there are several places where holes cross or where the tee box is directly beside the green of the previous hole. There were no screens or the screens were in the wrong place. Extremely dangerous.
Looking at each hole in isolation there were some interesting challenges, the length of the holes and narrow fairways made for some interesting risk/reward choices. Despite what I said about the layout, I enjoyed most of the holes.
I'm not sure I would return but if the safety issues were addressed this is a good course for a novice golfer to work on their game.
Best value in Durham
25 bucks for 18 after 4pm is amazing value. Course layout is interesting with many unique holes. In 2021 a 25 dollar round is insane.
