One Hot Day
Surprised that the course was so busy on a day with 35 C temps. The course held up well under these conditions. Golfed with my wife and did not like the separator in the cart. They refused to remove and said they had no carts without them . As I was playing I saw many carts without the divider ! We did not like the divider as it often got in the way .. Took some of the enjoyment out of our day.
Better than I Remembered
Course was in great shape in the middle of this drought, appreciated the layout more than I remembered
I understand it may soon become a residential community, so play it while you can
Beauty course
Wow, nicely laid out course that makes you use every club in the bag. Course is in great shape, greens are soft and fast.
Will be back
Great Shape
The course was in great shape for the hot weather have had lately! Greens were in excellent shape and rolled true.
Will definitely be back. Great price for weekday prime time. See you soon!
Great round of golf
This is a great course. Mature trees and hilly terrain but interesting and requires shot selection. Too bad it has been sold to developers I hear.
Tee times are too close together
No carts. Waited 45 mins to get cart. Seems Golf North only cares about money not golf. Should be 15 minutes between tee times. Backed up at ever hole. They need to fix the carts the have 20 broke down and people standing around waiting to golf after paying good money for a round of golf. Brant Valley is just the same. 9 mins between tee times. Money grab , no concern for the game or safety large groups of people waiting. Guess COVID-19 doesn’t effect these courses. Clearly Golf North is more concerned about money than golf if you go here expect to wait at every hole. Use to have a membership at GolfNorth. Not anymore will take my business elsewhere.
Why do some courses in our area have washroom facilities on the course and others do not. What is the difference of using a course Washroom or waiting in line at the Club House 3 patrons deep. Think this is all disinfected? Tough regulating water intake, sun on a hot day and facilities to relive self.... Bushes? Only leading to more litter and tick infection, not to mention ?poison ivy . Love the course...open washrooms. Those who will use them will follow protocols.
Covid Golf Tour
It's a great course. It demands you be accurate with your tee shots and planned approach. The greens are nice and soft. Plenty of water to swallow balls. Not an easy way but attainable, nice to have a pull cart and a dream to drive.
Picturess
Beautiful course with flowers , trees and just a picture !
Lovely , fun day ... will go back and golf there again , great value for the money !
Hot Hot Hot
Course is in very good condition ...tee boxes and fairways were cut and the greens were fast .(drying out)..no sand in the bunkers !!!!...They are short of golf carts ....players arriving around noon hour were waiting for carts which caused confusion with the starter ....all in all u make the best of it ...
Golf North could put plastic in the middle of the carts which would help with the cart issue ...as was done at another course which I played recently .Simple solution and still keeps one safe
I'll be back
The good:
Nice course. Pace of play was 4:h 15 minutes on a busy day.. Beer was cold and food was good. Love the greens, fast and true, without being overdone. Priced well.
The bad.
Had to wait for carts. However, they were promptly and properly disinfected prior to our use. Wait was 45 minutes. Gravel cart paths created quite a bit of dust. Bring bugspray.
Overall:
Should you desire a course that rewards accuracy off the tee with fabulous greens, this is a gem. Good track, good pace, friendly atmosphere.
Nice Challenging course.
Very narrow fairways and nice big greens. Lots of hills and mature trees. Pace was slow, but this is mostly due to the covid stuff.
played with 2 friends first time here enjoyed the course and will play it again. The greens were really slow and took some getting use to
