About
Dragonfly Golf Club is located in the upper Ottawa Valley in the town of Renfrew, which sits along the Bonnechere River. The course sprawls across rolling hills speckled with exposed rock faces, mature trees, and sparkling blue ponds, all of which come into play throughout. The scenic surroundings can be distracting because of the panoramic views overlooking the Ottawa Valley, but the design will demand your attention. The front nine has a traditional links layout while the back nine plays more like target golf. Despite offering two unique nines, they blend together seamlessly to form a golf course that will test all of your shot making skills. In addition to the golf course, Dragonfly has a driving range with 20 hitting stations and the option of tee matts or natural grass. Chipping and putting greens with a practice bunker are also available adjacent to the range.

Course in excellent condition. Greens are lush and true. My putting isn’t but not the greens fault. They put a lot of work into this course and shows
Hot Summer Golf
The staff here are always helpful and friendly. We were warned that the course was busy and expect a slower round. It was less than four hours so not that bad.
Fairways were in great condition and the greens full and true and probably stimping at about 9.
Temperature was low 30's and humid so pretty warm but the beverage cart was always close by.
Great outing for my wife and I.
Recommend for a moderate challenge.
Good time
Even though we were a little late the staff was very friendly and sent us out with another very friendly couple.
Had a great day.
Beat the ball
Very very hot day, course was busy for the civic holiday but pace of play was good, we paired up with another twosome on 3rd hole, nice lads. Good day had fun !
Value, Quality
Dragonfly's fairways and greens are always as good as or better than other courses in the area. Maintenance staff appear to be out in full force all the time, hence the quality of the course. If you are coming to the Renfrew area for a round of golf you can't go wrong with Dragonfly.
Great course and value
Dragonfly is a very nice layout and is in terrific shape. We had a beer and lunch after our round and lunch was great as well. This is our favourite Ottawa Valley course. Play here!
Due to last minute plans, our schedule had changed. They accommodated us by allowing us to start 1 1/2 hrs. early. Worked great. A little rain for about ten minutes but playable. Great time.

Good course
Course in nice condition, very hot day beer glasses not cold, not busy this particular day, hard to find your ball in the secondary rough. Fairways mowed nicely and greens in good shape. Lots of course length options to play from.

Valley Treasure!
First time! Great course, allows you to warm up during an easier front nine.......then the back nine challenges you that much more! The club house bar area is absolutely spectacular and finished off with a beer on the great patio! Super friendly staff, will definitely be back!
WONT BE BACK - OVERBOOKING
I’ve played this course a few times this summer and each time I tell myself this is the last time...I won’t be back. The staff are generally friendly except for the starter who I personally find to be presumptuous. I have never met him in my life and he assumed that my twosome would be a slow group and warned us about pace of play before we tee’d off on 1 which I find to be annoying. I have also been paired with other twosomes before which is fine, however I was paired with a twosome 3 weeks ago who were completely ignorant to golf etiquette and rules and should not have been allowed on the course. Other golfers were complaining about our foursome due to these upstanding citizens. They were also making our group on a whole very slow. This was especially maddening because the starter let at least two twosomes tee off separetly after they paired us up with these yahoos. Every time I go to this course they have it overbooked. Last Friday was a busy day on the course, there were 2 groups waiting on the tee block at all times and then when we started the back 9 a tournament started pushing this to 3 groups waiting on the block. It’s not like anyone can play through because there is no where to go. The Marshall/staff was driving around non stop as you could see he was getting stressed by the amount of back up they had created for the course. He insisted I play up on the group in front of us which I had reservations about...long story short I landed between the two carts in front of us and that group picked up my ball and stormed off course. I was continually being reminded not to wait so long before hitting which gets old in a hurry. We were there on a Friday afternoon to relax and enjoy the game of golf, not be held up on every hole while being pressured by staff to hit up on people. That is not what golf is about and I will NOT be giving this course anymore of my hard earned money. This is unfortunate because this course offers a great rate, have great clubhouse and pro shop staff, course is kept well, I generally really love the course itself but they jam it up and make it an unenjoyable experience for everybody.
