Situated just outside of Welland, Pelham Hills Golf & Country Club offers a parkland-style course that is easily accessible from Niagara Falls. With the Niagara Escarpment serving as a backdrop, the golf course has a rolling landscape covered with large ponds, wandering creeks, and towering trees. The Pelham Hills layout features elevated tees and undulating greens that are heavily guarded. In addition to numerous bunkers there is also strategically placed mounding separating the holes. The front nine has a few demanding holes that require long carries over ravines but there are also many birdie opportunities. Pelham Hills Golf & Country Club's back nine tests your drives more than your shot-making skills. The golf course is a formidable challenge but generous fairways make it more player friendly.

Our pace of play on this incredibly hot and humid day was extremely slow until the older gentlemen in the cart ahead of us invited us to play through. After that it was super fast, and we were walking. We could barely keep up with the twosome in a cart in front of us. I feel sorry for others who were behind them, and wish there were some marshalls on courses. This seems to be a thing of the past since covid, and it is sorely missed.
Cart fees are just plain robbery
Paid $25 plus tax and fees for 18 holes on Golf Now, but found out cart fees were $20 per person. My foot has been bothering me lately otherwise I would have walked
This course is a hidden gem
Great track that is worth every penny especially with a hot deal. The greens are sneaky as some play slower and faster than others. The par 5s are tough to get there in 2 for the average hitter, and the par 3s are straight forward but are also difficult to judge with elevation. Most of the par 4s are short but most of them have tight fairways, making it fun and challenging at the same time. Overall a great layout with nice elevation on most holes which calls for every shot in the playbook.
