About
Situated just outside of Welland, Pelham Hills Golf & Country Club offers a parkland-style course that is easily accessible from Niagara Falls. With the Niagara Escarpment serving as a backdrop, the golf course has a rolling landscape covered with large ponds, wandering creeks, and towering trees. The Pelham Hills layout features elevated tees and undulating greens that are heavily guarded. In addition to numerous bunkers there is also strategically placed mounding separating the holes. The front nine has a few demanding holes that require long carries over ravines but there are also many birdie opportunities. Pelham Hills Golf & Country Club's back nine tests your drives more than your shot-making skills. The golf course is a formidable challenge but generous fairways make it more player friendly.

Great course
I got nailed by that 9th hole and we got rained out after 12, but it is a lovely and challenging course. Nailed my first 2 birdies of the season and some pars before we had to pack it in. We’ll be back!
Give the course about 3.8 out of 5
Challenging and some holes have multiple hazards. Could use some more watering on some of the greens.
Under New Management
This course has new management and a lot of positive changes are coming form it. Would recommend!
Extremely rude pro shop attendant
Course was great, greens were in excellent shape, and pace of play was good. Only issue I had, and one that will definitely stop me from coming back was the pro shop guy that greeted us upon check in. He was rude right off the bat and began arguing with us when we inquired about cart availability, saying we needed to call ahead and book our carts in advance when it did not state that anywhere in the tee time notes. It does say thay you are to check with the pro shop for cart availability but does not say that you are required to reserve a cart ahead of your tee time to ensure availability. Very unfortunate but there are plenty of courses to play, nothing I won't miss out on not playing here ever again.
No marshals tone seen so no pace took to long and was too much money

Little pricey for a course that’s kind of beat up.
Good value for the price
Fairways were fine but some of the greens were less than smooth. Pace of play was slow because of groups ahead. No starter to regulate groups teeing off. Marshals were friendly.
Fun course
This round of golf made for a fun day on a challenging enough layout at great value. Pace of play was good, other patrons were extremely polite and aware of their own pace of play. Politely waiting if they felt they were slow to let our group pass.

The course has a nice layout
Great value for the money, challenging enough course. The greens are pretty straight forward. The course staff very friendly, the course patrons very friendly on the course in particular the young crowd out golfing very polite and aware of their pace of play.
All in all a very relaxing day on the course.
I would definitely go back.
Good course
Course was good. Only issue was the lack of golf carts and the price of them.
Humps one side of fairways !!!
Not bad course. Very challenging for amateur golfers. Mounds and humps on one side of fairways and Few water hazards .
One thing got me was really really slow greens. Also fairways not very smooth. it is very difficult to distinguish fairways and ruff from the tee-box, but at the same time greenkeepers staff was working there. So positive signs.
