Fairways were in good shape greens were in great shape. Love this course. Will play here again when it gets a little cooler.

Course was in great shape. I'm a high handicap player but I played with friends that were 2 and 10 handicappers. All had a great time and will play again soon.

Very well maintained, lush fairways. Greens above average. White sandy traps! Not a bad price, even a better value if a hot deal!!

I like playing this course because it has a little of everything. Holes with water that dares you to try hitting over it. It felt like they made the course longer. The course seemed to be in good condition. They are making improvements to the facilities, but that doesn't include the course at this time. I will definitely play this course again. I really enjoy it when I play here.

All Excellent I am a "senior" golfer

I should start with Southern Oaks is my home course and I play it several times a week. However I have also played other courses in the area recently and each time I do I wish I was back playing at Southern Oaks. The conditions of the course are exceptional. The staff are are always awesome. I know with the more positive reviews the more people will show, well the course deserves it with all the improvements made over the past year or so. If you've not played Southern Oaks recently you should!

This was my first round at this course and I was very impressed. They have made many improvements recently and the course conditions were excellent. The only caveat I would offer is to seniors 55 and up. If you are a senior and want the senior rate do not book your tee time through Golf Now book directly with the course. We booked online and the standard rate for our time was $48.00. The fellow who checked us in said since we booked online we had to pay that rate. That was the only negative to the day. All the of the staff was friendly and professional. The food was very good and the cart girl was seen frequently. We were a twosome and they let us go ahead of our scheduled time. We were first out and finished the round in about 3 hours. When we inquired about a replay they told us we could play as much as we could stand for $20. The second round was a little slower as there were plenty of players but we still finished in just a shade over 4 hours. I received a very healthy pour in my post round beverage at the bar and once again the service was impeccable. Everybody was on staff was very friendly and professional. I highly recommend making the trip out to Burleson to play Southern Oaks.

Always love playing this course, really enjoy the challenge of the greens, you can let your driver do the work from most holes, and then you have some that you have to play a conservative game

Im a fan of this track and facility. They have a nice bar/grill and the clubhouse is fully stocked. There is currently a Tennis facility going up, that has the #1 tee box temporarily moved up quite a bit. Fairways and greens are very nice right now. Give it a go!

From the First Tee to the Last you will be challenged. Course is long compared to others, has fairway sand, bunkers and everyone's favorite Water. Fairways always have Great Lie using same grass as on Greens, rough is just that, so you need to be smart and know you will be Challenged on this Course. Well Worth the drive to play Southern Oaks in Burleson, Tx

In Progress construction is Tennis Courts, not sure how many, but looks like 10. If you have friends that enjoy Tennis but not Golf, drop them off at Courts then Play The Golf Course.

Right now this course is in the best shape I have ever seen it. The fairways are plush and the greens are really good...frankly, tee to green the course was just awesome. Good job Southern Oaks!!

Course is great, no complaints, however back nine was totally backed up due to the "Owner" having a tournament. Once we got to #10 tee box our play was slowed tremendously by a 5 sum ahead of us. Marshal obeserved their slow play and did nothing. Of course the 5 sum never allowed us to pass therefore disrupting our tempo and play. I was disappointed how the round turned out. For the money our group paid maybe the owner should provide a round to us to make up for his slow tournament play.

The course looked good but the greens were really bad. The price was really to high. I played on golfnow which i got a good price. I did not get to finish because of the rain. I would like to play it again. The staff was super great.
