About
Coyote Ridge Golf Club, opened in 1999, features some unusual holes that traverse a variety of unique terrain. Each nine is strikingly different -- the front plays through a burgeoning residential community, is generally wide open and void of trees, and takes on the characteristics of a links-style course.
Water comes into play six times on the front, including the extremely difficult ninth hole, which doglegs left around a lake that stretches all the way around the green. Survive the tee shot by bailing right if you have to, but consider laying up on the approach since the water bends all the way around and surrounds the green on three sides. You’ll still have the chance for an up-and-down par, and playing for bogey is much better that rolling into the turn after a double-digit disaster.
Also on the front, No. 7 is a fun par 3 because of the 70-foot drop in elevation. The tee shot goes 165 yards over water into a very wide, challenging green.
Coyote Ridge Golf Club's back nine rolls through an abandoned rock quarry along the Trinity River, featuring more trees and elevation changes.

No Driving Range - bummer
Greta course, just absolutely bummed to show up an hour early for a 7:30 am tee time and learn the range is closed on Wednesdays. Hate when this happens as it generally leaves me with no warm up which leads to bad shots and higher scores. My team mates were alos disappointed.

Great Course but over priced
Course is in pretty good shape. Bunkers are a mess. Any course charging north of 90$ for a round should have playable bunkers.

Price not quite worth it
Good layout and conditions were good, but they’re working on their sand traps so they were closed off. Should probably tell you that when you book or reduce the rate. Pace of play was good because it was 110 out. We may have been the only people on the course.

Great place to golf. Only comment is that the drinking water locations along the course were empty and the beverage cart was not operational.

Nice course to practice
This is a nice golf course to practice. It has long and short distances to challenge the skill. The course view is great which is on the hill. The pro shop service is nice as well. Highly recommended.

Always enjoyable
Course is in good shape, though bunkers are ground under repair for the time being. Played on a Monday morning, got around in 4 hours w/o much waiting. Still not a fan of the 10th hole, though it was one of my few birdies today. Fairways and greens in good condition currently. It’s still pricy to play, but you know that going in, no surprises there.

A little pricey, but great track with super friendly staff
They're definitely proud of their rates as I don't necessarily believe this is a $100 round even on primetime tee times, but it's a great course that can be challenging and makes you hit different shots, while still gettable. Their staff across the board are top notch and their facilities are very nice. Overall course was in great shape, greens especially, but they do need to figure something out with their bunker drainage. Will play here again for sure -- maybe hit up a twilight rate or not play primetime on weekend mornings.
