About
Coyote Ridge Golf Club, opened in 1999, features some unusual holes that traverse a variety of unique terrain. Each nine is strikingly different -- the front plays through a burgeoning residential community, is generally wide open and void of trees, and takes on the characteristics of a links-style course.
Water comes into play six times on the front, including the extremely difficult ninth hole, which doglegs left around a lake that stretches all the way around the green. Survive the tee shot by bailing right if you have to, but consider laying up on the approach since the water bends all the way around and surrounds the green on three sides. You’ll still have the chance for an up-and-down par, and playing for bogey is much better that rolling into the turn after a double-digit disaster.
Also on the front, No. 7 is a fun par 3 because of the 70-foot drop in elevation. The tee shot goes 165 yards over water into a very wide, challenging green.
Coyote Ridge Golf Club's back nine rolls through an abandoned rock quarry along the Trinity River, featuring more trees and elevation changes.

Nice Course
The course in undergoing sand trap renovations, but overall the course is in good shape. We enjoyed playing this course. It was not overly crowded which allowed us to play in under 4 hours.

Coyote ridge can be a very challenging course at times and is kept up as nicely as private tpc courses.

Nice course, good shape
Tee boxes were a touch base, but nothing you can’t play through. Bunkers under repair but there aren’t a whole lot for it to matter anyway

Immaculate course
Wow!! This course is gorgeous. I am a member at Cowboys and I thought that was the best course in north DFW. I was wrong. This course was perfect! Fairways and greens could not be more perfect. Bunkers are under construction but I didn’t spend any time in them so it doesn’t matter. Met two members Ryan and John and they could not be more friendly. Definitely going to join this club and make it my home course. Membership is not that expensive for what you get and definitely cheaper then cowboys or Craig ranch. Will add pics next time. One last detail, shot a 34 on the front and a 39 on the back. Not bad for the first time playing.

Beautiful greens, tee box and bunkers under repair
Fairways were in good shape, greens were in better shape than either Dallas TPC course! Only negative was bunkers and men’s/sr tee box were under repair. Either tees OR bunkers would have been ok… but both is tough considering the price point.

Good tract
The course is under going some maintenance on bunkers and tee boxes. Really rough right now but still fun to play.

Fairways and greens are perfect as well as tee boxes. Bunkers are redone, but I was never end them. Excellent shape overall!! Worth the money; definitely recommend tee time before 8.

Great track!
Best condition of semi-private courses in DFW area. Unfortunately, one of our 4-some had to bail last minute due to a family emergency. GN doesn't offer a remedy for the unforeseen..

Slow pace of play
Course in good condition. Played on a Saturday. Over a 5 hour round. No marshalls on the course. Had to call the pro shop. Someone came out and broke up a 6some. Would be nice if the course had someone periodically driving around to help prevent these things from happening.

No Driving Range - bummer
Greta course, just absolutely bummed to show up an hour early for a 7:30 am tee time and learn the range is closed on Wednesdays. Hate when this happens as it generally leaves me with no warm up which leads to bad shots and higher scores. My team mates were alos disappointed.
