About
Coyote Ridge Golf Club, opened in 1999, features some unusual holes that traverse a variety of unique terrain. Each nine is strikingly different -- the front plays through a burgeoning residential community, is generally wide open and void of trees, and takes on the characteristics of a links-style course.
Water comes into play six times on the front, including the extremely difficult ninth hole, which doglegs left around a lake that stretches all the way around the green. Survive the tee shot by bailing right if you have to, but consider laying up on the approach since the water bends all the way around and surrounds the green on three sides. You’ll still have the chance for an up-and-down par, and playing for bogey is much better that rolling into the turn after a double-digit disaster.
Also on the front, No. 7 is a fun par 3 because of the 70-foot drop in elevation. The tee shot goes 165 yards over water into a very wide, challenging green.
Coyote Ridge Golf Club's back nine rolls through an abandoned rock quarry along the Trinity River, featuring more trees and elevation changes.

Good but ....
Good course. Good looking clubhouse..
Nice range but mats?
Extremely generous with range balls which I appreciated due to always needing to hit a ton before heading out on course.
The BUT .... it feels like this should be a premium operation and in many ways it is presented as such. But the little things are just shoestring budget in execution.
For me it is worth playing for under $50 but they ask much more. With all that said I'm glad I played it and hope to be welcomed back. Just less often than the course warrants. Due to mismatch in aforementioned areas.

Want-a-be a private club
Seems like all the money and energy y’all are spending to make it a private club and at that it cost me much more than it should be because of that. Not much Of a working man’s golf course

Solid Course, Good Conditions, Not a Friendly Staff
Love the course, the layout and conditions. State of the art golf carts with GPS, plenty of water stations around, the course itself including the greens are in really good shape. On the negative side, the golf shop staff are not very accommodating nor friendly. Lead guy is always on the phone. I asked about memberships and he dismissed me away. I know this course was just bought and I get the sense that the new staff is all about the money (vs player experience). For example, you get blitzed the whole round on the GPS regarding their grill and ordering food. Also, there are actually too many cart girls buzzing around which is great for making $$ for them but slows down the game in front of you. Great venue and round of golf but a sour taste on the people behind the course. They are clearly not customer focused. For that reason I may not return.

Nice Course
I played this course at least ten years ago, forgot how nice it is and plays. Anyone going to Vegas that wants a nice, challenging course and has no problem driving an hour out of town, should go, well worth the $ and drive!

Staff
The staff on course was very friendly marshal & cart girls but the gentleman at the pro shop desk was very rude also the cart kept showing pick up pace when we were being held up on every hole it was very Annoying

Course
As far as the fairways and greens girl they were in great shape. However the sand traps were in very poor shape but I understand that problem is going to be solved soon. Once that is done it will be a great golf course.

Not Quite Troon Worthy
The bunkers are mostly unplayable w/ mesh fabric coming through the sand in almost every case. The balance of course is in nice shape. The clubhouse is under remodel so no amenities available and pro shop staff not very friendly. Lots of trash around the clubhouse. Troon appears to be investing but not quite there yet for areas highest daily fee green fee.

Amazing greens
Difficult greens in amazing shape… smooth and consistent. Course layout is challenging, somewhat fade friendly, fairways in great shape and roughs don’t penalize too badly at this length. 4 hours seemed to fly by, enjoyed the round.

Love this course
The course is mainly good shape, but I love the beauty of course. For the most part, you are surrounded by nature not a lot of houses. The par 3’s are fun.

Eh
Strict and rude staff (the cart guys/valet are super nice and awesome). Saw one of the staff yell at a guy on the range for not wearing a collared shirt. He wasn’t even there to play a round. Kind of weird for a public course and paying customer. I get dress codes, but you’re not that nice of a course.. get the stick out of your butt. The range mats are not great. There’s no way to tee off for practicing driving.
As for the course it’s in decent condition. Fairways are in great condition, greens could be better.. they are slow at the moment. Would consider this an above average course. The club is being remodeled atm.
I probably won’t play this again. Better courses for the same price.

Excellent conditions
The coarse is in Plush condition the staff was amazingly friendly especially the cart guy And It looks like the clubhouse in the locker rooms are being all re-done it looks like this club going to be a 5 star club Amazing place
