About
Coyote Ridge Golf Club, opened in 1999, features some unusual holes that traverse a variety of unique terrain. Each nine is strikingly different -- the front plays through a burgeoning residential community, is generally wide open and void of trees, and takes on the characteristics of a links-style course.
Water comes into play six times on the front, including the extremely difficult ninth hole, which doglegs left around a lake that stretches all the way around the green. Survive the tee shot by bailing right if you have to, but consider laying up on the approach since the water bends all the way around and surrounds the green on three sides. You’ll still have the chance for an up-and-down par, and playing for bogey is much better that rolling into the turn after a double-digit disaster.
Also on the front, No. 7 is a fun par 3 because of the 70-foot drop in elevation. The tee shot goes 165 yards over water into a very wide, challenging green.
Coyote Ridge Golf Club's back nine rolls through an abandoned rock quarry along the Trinity River, featuring more trees and elevation changes.

You will enjoy this course no matter your level. They have tee boxes to satisfy your level of play. Depending on the pi placement you better bring your A game.

A real review
First time playing here and is probably my favorite course I've played out in NTX since moving out here a year ago greens were running well and tricky. Luckily my putting was on point. But can see how these greens will wreck someone if any part of putting is off. Front and back 9 are two totally different 9's I heard the back is much harder then the front but I played 4 over on front (stupid club choices hurt me) and even on the back. You definitely have to place your shots on the back 9 where the front you can get away with much more. Scenery and layout were great. Has a little of everything, uphill, down hill, doglegs etc. Very fun course and will be back!

Great course
I played on 11/11/21 and again the next day. the course is in great shape. The girls are friendly, the staff is nice, and the beers are cold. The clubhouse is almost redone too. $95 is steep, but it’s a fun, challenging layout. Look forward to playing in again soon.

Awesome greens
The greens were as good as I’ve ever seen them. Only thing that needs some love is the bunkers. Pace of play was good until we ran into a foursome that was giving their wives lessons on every shot and wouldn’t let us play through… ever since the golf explosion this has been a very common occurrence unfortunately.

Nice course
This course is probably in better shape than most public courses. The clubhouse is being renovated so that has to be overlooked. Restrooms are available and very nice inside. Plenty of restrooms on the course as well as water stations. Could use improvements on. The sand traps. They are hard and need some sand. Overall a nice and challenging course.

Great course
Tee to green golf course in good shape. Once they finish with the bunker project it will be even better. Pace of play was good for a Saturday and we were just a twosome. Staff very friendly and making the best of their situation with the clubhouse still in the remodeling phase. Putting green and chipping area was good but hitting off mats on the range is not optimal. I will definitely play here again and refer to friends who ask.

Under New Management?
They say the course is under new management. Hope they put some money into the course. Hadn’t played-this course for a long and usually in good shape, but not today. The fairways were just ok and the bunkers in terrible shape. There was a bright to spot as most of the greens were in good shape.
