About
Coyote Ridge Golf Club, opened in 1999, features some unusual holes that traverse a variety of unique terrain. Each nine is strikingly different -- the front plays through a burgeoning residential community, is generally wide open and void of trees, and takes on the characteristics of a links-style course.
Water comes into play six times on the front, including the extremely difficult ninth hole, which doglegs left around a lake that stretches all the way around the green. Survive the tee shot by bailing right if you have to, but consider laying up on the approach since the water bends all the way around and surrounds the green on three sides. You’ll still have the chance for an up-and-down par, and playing for bogey is much better that rolling into the turn after a double-digit disaster.
Also on the front, No. 7 is a fun par 3 because of the 70-foot drop in elevation. The tee shot goes 165 yards over water into a very wide, challenging green.

Fun course but very challenging!
The course is in very good condition and the greens have recovered nicely from being punched about a month or so ago. Always a good course and will challenge all skill levels.

Very Sanded Green
The fairways were in good shape. The greens had just been sanded and not watered in yet, green in good shape otherwise.

Better than recent reviews
I was a bit wary after some of the recent reviews, but was pleasantly surprised.
Played on a Friday afternoon. The clubhouse is partially open and proshop was back in building. The course was in pretty good shape. Greens ran true. The layout has always been wonky. 10 is just a bad hole. And the finishing holes aren’t the best. But it’s a good test of golf. Played in 4 hours flat which is OUTSTANDING for a Friday afternoon.

Going private by the end of the year??? Review 9/17/21
The course is in very good shape, The dry bermuda grass rough is long and very difficult. The greens are in very well maintained... Not a course I would suggest walking, although it is allowed. Lots of creeks to cross, especially on the back nine.... We been playing there for years and it is in as good a condition as I can remember. Better play it soon. They are planning to go private by the end of 2021!

Great first experience at Coyote Ridge
It’s a tough course with some narrow fairways but overall very nice.

Good Course, terrible range
Good shape course, tough layout, good greens , friendly staff, worst range balls I’ve ever hit besides the fact that their small bucket was $8 (especially at a high dollar course). Clubhouse under repair from the freeze. Overall would go back again but don’t plan on hitting balls there.

Clubhouse still under construction. Pro shop still in a trailer six months after the freeze. Need a better contractor.

I was told my cost included range balls but they closed the range to me

Really good course, greens were still recovering from being punched but they are almost there. Fairways and tee boxes in very good shape. Narrow landing areas, must be good off the tee box. Green speeds a little inconsistent but still roll fast. Shot placers course, a good number of blind tee shots
