About
Coyote Ridge Golf Club, opened in 1999, features some unusual holes that traverse a variety of unique terrain. Each nine is strikingly different -- the front plays through a burgeoning residential community, is generally wide open and void of trees, and takes on the characteristics of a links-style course.
Water comes into play six times on the front, including the extremely difficult ninth hole, which doglegs left around a lake that stretches all the way around the green. Survive the tee shot by bailing right if you have to, but consider laying up on the approach since the water bends all the way around and surrounds the green on three sides. You’ll still have the chance for an up-and-down par, and playing for bogey is much better that rolling into the turn after a double-digit disaster.
Also on the front, No. 7 is a fun par 3 because of the 70-foot drop in elevation. The tee shot goes 165 yards over water into a very wide, challenging green.
Coyote Ridge Golf Club's back nine rolls through an abandoned rock quarry along the Trinity River, featuring more trees and elevation changes.

Goodbye forever!
Terrible customer service. I bought 4 idealgolfer coupons to play there. I can't make a tee time. They are renovating their clubhouse and outsourced their tee time system to a 3rd party that you have to pay with credit card to make a tee time in full. Since I already paid for the green fees the only way to play is to make a tee time with the course but that's not possible according to the guy in the temporary club house in the parking lot. I had to drive all the way there to be told sorry but we can't help you. It's a shame from a respected owner Mr. Moon. Such a shame.

Challenging layout!
Great layout and the greens were rolling well. A must to stay below the hole on these rolling greens!

Great Day - Greens Too Fast For Most Golfers
I’ve always enjoyed the greens, but this fall and winter they are too fast and the pin placements were frequently on the crown of the green or on a slope. I’m a mid-80s player and I was putting defensively all day to try and not 3 putt.
Either look for more favorable pin positions or slow them down a bit so the vast majority of your clientele can enjoy the round and not be frustrated with the greens.

Rude golf pro. Greens were like putting on a pool table. Call Lynn advance to inquire about driving range and was told that they did have a driving range. Got there 15 minutes later and no balls available. Ask golf pro while checking in to buy some extra tees and he rudely said tees are in the golf cart. There were a total of eight tees in the golf cart!Same service every time I have played there. Won't go back.

This course has gotten super expensive and i don’t see the added value. For the price the pace of play should be better and the greens should be better. But if you can get a deal on price it’s 100% worth playing

Their clubhouse got completely ruined during the Texas snow storms. Look it up...the pro shop was completely underwater from bursted pipes.
