About
Coyote Ridge Golf Club, opened in 1999, features some unusual holes that traverse a variety of unique terrain. Each nine is strikingly different -- the front plays through a burgeoning residential community, is generally wide open and void of trees, and takes on the characteristics of a links-style course.
Water comes into play six times on the front, including the extremely difficult ninth hole, which doglegs left around a lake that stretches all the way around the green. Survive the tee shot by bailing right if you have to, but consider laying up on the approach since the water bends all the way around and surrounds the green on three sides. You’ll still have the chance for an up-and-down par, and playing for bogey is much better that rolling into the turn after a double-digit disaster.
Also on the front, No. 7 is a fun par 3 because of the 70-foot drop in elevation. The tee shot goes 165 yards over water into a very wide, challenging green.

Excellent Test
Accuracy off the tee is a must especially on the back nine. Fairways are firm but not hot. Greens could be faster but recent aireation left them bumpy. Friendly staff and free lunch makes up for the higher than average price.

Terrible greens & Terrible Service
Greens were in terrible shape. Cart broke down, took them 30 minutes to bring a new one, second cart broke down after a few more holes, ended up walking the remainder of the course.

7 AM T-time
T Box clean, Level, well maintained .
Fairways watered in good shape.
Greens were recently aerated and therefore bumpy.
Bunkers had standing water after a 3” rain. Maintenance man was sump pumping out water.
Ballwashers we’re maintained with fresh soap & water.
Pretty impressive!
The only negative was the golf carts were cutting out because of internet problems.

Love it
I love this course. Unfortunately today greens were rough due to maintenance done last week, but that is part of golf. Greens have to be aerated and sanded every now and then to keep them in good shape. Would have given more on conditions, as it usually is immaculate, but today was rough due to the holes and sand. Would always recommend this course.

Above Par for the Area!
We enjoyed our round at Coyote Ridge. It offered nice open fairways, with speedy greens to present a real challenge.
Prices were “slightly” high. $79 to play before 11am. $55 till 3pm, but the quality of the course, how they maintain it and it’s overall experience is worth it.
Nice driving range, chipping area and putting green to warm up on. Didn’t have it, but a lunch snack comes with the round too.
Overall, 4.5 outta 5! We’ll be back to play here again!!

The course was beautifully layed out,I really enjoyed the par 5s,greens were in great shape and really like that they had courtesy cart girl in the middle of the week with this Texas heat.
