About
Coyote Ridge Golf Club, opened in 1999, features some unusual holes that traverse a variety of unique terrain. Each nine is strikingly different -- the front plays through a burgeoning residential community, is generally wide open and void of trees, and takes on the characteristics of a links-style course.
Water comes into play six times on the front, including the extremely difficult ninth hole, which doglegs left around a lake that stretches all the way around the green. Survive the tee shot by bailing right if you have to, but consider laying up on the approach since the water bends all the way around and surrounds the green on three sides. You’ll still have the chance for an up-and-down par, and playing for bogey is much better that rolling into the turn after a double-digit disaster.
Also on the front, No. 7 is a fun par 3 because of the 70-foot drop in elevation. The tee shot goes 165 yards over water into a very wide, challenging green.
Coyote Ridge Golf Club's back nine rolls through an abandoned rock quarry along the Trinity River, featuring more trees and elevation changes.

nice, very busy
teamed up with two other hot deals with me and my son....great guys who played similar level of golf....course is in good shape,,,greens okay for a public course...this place is very busy but the staff is friendly and attentive
Super slow
This course always seems to take 5 hours. They stack the tee times way too close together.
Staff doesnt know how to check you in if you book through a discount site?? Sean was incompetent and didn't have a clue therefore I payed twice, so I paid for Sean's mistake and or lack of training? Overpriced course, discount site only way I would even justify playing and with no one understanding how to when checking in....you have lost a customer!!

Overall, pretty good.
We played on a Friday at 9am.
Pace was pretty good, just over 4 hours.
Range balls and a hot dog, brat or burger lunch were included, which was great. Cart service came by twice.
The layout is good, maybe a bit short from the blue tees.
My only complaint would be the greens were a little slow and bumpy, but definitely playable.

Great Time
Great Facility, great course but they overbooked the course... constantly waiting 15 min to tee off at every hole. Loved everything else about it though

back 9 holes very slow, I could not play 17, 18 hole.

Nice course. Challenging!
This is a really nice course that makes you use pretty much all of the clubs on your bag. The greens are in great shape. There are a couple of holes (#10 in particular) that make you think a little.
Practice balls and a hot dog or hamburger at the turn are included in the price.

Fun times
Course was not busy, in good shape, complimentary hamburger was really good, unfortunately, I was double charged for a visor I purchased before the round. Otherwise, totally enjoyed the round and will be back soon.

Great course. Poor service.
A buddy and I was walking this course and on hole 3 a cart girl comes by. We grab some drinks. And she takes my buddies card and said it will be at the front when we get done. This way we can order more why playing. This was probably around 4:45 or so. We asked her when they have been closing because our round came with a hamburger and we wanted to know if we needed to order when we were coming up to hole nine. She said no you will be fine when your done you can get the burger then and my buddies card. We finished about 7. Maybe a bit earlier. Go up to the club house and every door was closed and locked. There were till a lot of people out on the course playing and a lot of people on the driving range. So my buddy has to go up there the next morning and get his card. He asked what time they closed yesterday and they told him at 5:30. My problem is don’t take someone’s card if you know you are about to close. And the place should let people know you need to eat you burger before your round. Just a heads up would be nice.
Now for the course. And practice area they are both really great. Good layout and some challenging holes. Very pleased with the course itself. Would play it again

Dehydration
We arrived at the course and proceeded to warm up. 10 minutes before our tee time we went in to buy water, Gatorade and beer. CLOSED! No beverage if any type was available, it was very warm. Luckily we had two warm bottles of Mountain Dew. Without that we would have had to be out there 4 hours with nothing to drink. They don’t allow outside coolers. For that reason, the health department should shut them down. Guess they will be shut forever when someone sues after having a heat stroke. We’ll NEVER go back!!!

Due to an order from state authorities, we were not able to open the clubhouse or grill during that time. Great
IT was a good day for golf. We arrived and the course was wide open at 0845 and we took off — it had no amenities as it was COVID19 Ready and that was why no services but good well mannered patrons and people thee for a great day of golf.
