Course is just getting better every week! Greens are awesome!

This is a course that was completely redesigned a couple of years ago. The greens are as good, if not better, than any of the club courses in the Brazos valley. The course is well maintained, and as an intermediate player I find it to be surprisingly challenging. Some more advanced players might find it less of a challenge. It's a fun course. Don't expect a beverage cart Monday through Thursday, but you will appreciate the pace of play. Friday through Sunday( particularly on the day of a home football game) are exceptionally busy, and the pace of play can be a little slow. They do have a beverage cart on weekends. For those of you who imbibe, they do not have hard liquor.

Played this course about 10+ years ago and was just what I expected for the price. Now with the new renovations, the course is in great condition. From tee box, fairways, and greens all in great shape!

This is one of the best conditioned public courses in Texas. I wouldn't call the lay out extremely difficult but it is fun and challenging course. Great staff too. I wish more people would repair their divots on the green and in the fairway but I guess that's part of a public course.

The course was busy but when a single player is trying to move through a group of four playing from the forward tees and they don't wave him through, it's just rude. No, they weren't young college students. These were men at least in their 50's and playing as slow as they could. Thank goodness they quit after nine holes. There is no reason to be so oblivious as to ignore faster players or groups behind you and not allow them through.

Plays like a lynx course, the rough is thick and possibly unnecessarily so because if your ball goes in the thick rough, there's a good chance you're not going to find it or will spend 2-5 minutes looking for it. Everything else is in great condition. My only gripe is that the course is a little more expensive than it should be, especially if you are a student at Texas A&M and trying to play a decent course for a price that won't break the college budget.

We have gone to this course several times for a twilight tee time to play the front 9. In August it is too hot otherwise to be fun. We enjoy the course would just like more hills and less winding back and forth from hole to hole.

Despite the temperatures of above 95 degrees most of this summer, the course has been well maintained. Cart ladies are frequently available for very reasonably priced beverages. Easily the best public course in the area.

The best course I have been on all year! Very nice and will be hitting this course more often!

We played the TAMU campus course yesterday and even will the frequent rains we were able to play the ball down. Nice layout and greens roll well.

First time on the renovate course. No course diagram on scorecard. Purchased yardage brochure.

Worth price. Not a lot of players.

I have played this course several times during the week and the pace of play was great; however, I tried playing a round on Saturday and it took almost 5 hours. The course is in nice shape. The fairways and greens.are really nice. I will play it again, but I will stick to the weekdays.

First time I had played the course since the remodel in 2013. Wide open golf course...wish they had left more trees during the remodel. Huge (excellent) greens with lots of slope & speed (10.5). Just like the old course....lots of leaks, irrigation puddles in the fairways (plugged drives on #3, #4, #6 & #14. For as much as the "big school" spent on the remodel you would think the maintainence crew (Sterling Golf) would pay attention to details. For $25 it was a great value.

The greens were comprised by dozens of unrepaired ball marks. Other than that they were fast and consistent. A hole map on the back of the scorecard would help.
