About
Belterra Golf Club was designed by Tom Fazio and it has been ranked as one of the top 20 casino golf courses in the country. It is conveniently situated just a short drive from Cincinnati, Louisville, and Lexington. The challenging layout takes you through a scenic landscape of rolling hills covered with thousands of trees and several sparkling lakes. Elevation changes throughout the golf course provide challenges as well as scenic views of the Ohio River and Log Lick Creek. The course has fast greens and well manicured fairways. Water hazards come into play on several holes but just as tricky are the imposing bunkers that are strategically placed along the greensides. Included in the round at Belterra G.C. are unlimited practice balls to use on the driving range, putting and chipping greens, and practice bunker.

Reworking the course
Many of the traps are being reworked and unplayable. Some completed, several are playable and many are not. We were able to manage to get a deal on the green fees or I would have been upset. I really didn’t expect to not be told at least as we checked in for our round.
We apologize for the inconvenience encountered due to the reworking of our traps and the lack of communication at check-in. We appreciate your feedback and are glad you found value with the deal on green fees.

Some of the bunkers were being worked on and look like they will eventually be fantastic. Played the day after some heavy rain so it was cart path only. Otherwise the course was in great shape with some amazing holes. Really a nice test of golf. Highly recommend.

Course was nice but challenging. The Marshall followed us for 4 holes even though we were under 15 minutes a hole. Had to ask him to back off. After that there were no problems.

Do not play
Upon arrival, around 9 AM, no one was there at the backdrop. When I checked in, I was informed that three holes would have temporary greens .no starter. All sand traps were hard as a rock and hadn’t been worked. In conclusion, I won’t be back.

Sunday Morning Round
Played Sunday morning at Belterra with 3 friends. I’ve played here many times but my friends from out of state had not. They thoroughly loved the course and will play it again. Greens were in great shape as well as the fairways and most of the tee boxes. Only reason I gave it a 4 out of five on conditions was Belterra is in the middle of a bunker renovations and some of the bunkers were unplayable. Very challenging track and the customer service is second to none.

Nice COurse
Played this course in early April but it was in excellent condition. They were still working on some of the sand traps. Overall the course was a great design and was in excellent shape. Pace of play was a little slow but not too bad for a resort course.

I wish they had something to eat at the turn z we had a great round and no one held us up. We had three guys let us go in front of them which was very nice. Love the course, the greens. A few sand bunkers weren’t in good shape but it’s early so I expected thst. Can’t wait to

Belterra at its Best
I rated each category as a much deserved 5 star. Early December with 60 degree weather and a full day of sunshine. From my drop off, to my check in, to my round of enjoyment all went well. OK, my putting didn’t. With the GN rates the day was perfect. I will return for future rounds. Living 45 miles away and still well worth the drive and cost.
