About
Belterra Golf Club was designed by Tom Fazio and it has been ranked as one of the top 20 casino golf courses in the country. It is conveniently situated just a short drive from Cincinnati, Louisville, and Lexington. The challenging layout takes you through a scenic landscape of rolling hills covered with thousands of trees and several sparkling lakes. Elevation changes throughout the golf course provide challenges as well as scenic views of the Ohio River and Log Lick Creek. The course has fast greens and well manicured fairways. Water hazards come into play on several holes but just as tricky are the imposing bunkers that are strategically placed along the greensides. Included in the round at Belterra G.C. are unlimited practice balls to use on the driving range, putting and chipping greens, and practice bunker.

Too difficult to be fun
This course is too difficult to be fun for an average golfer. On most holes it’s either hit the perfect shot or you’re in big trouble. On some holes even if you hit the perfect shot you’re still in trouble. It gets old fast. It’s a nice course in terms of conditions…but…be warned…playing here will most likely not be a fun experience.

Tough course, great value
Was very cold at the start (38 degrees) but warmed up a little by the end (44 degrees). If it hadn't been sunny, it would have been a difficult day. Course was in great shape, the layout is very challenging, but it was still a great day.

The greens had been airreated so putting was not good true rolls

Great course
One of Indiana's best. This course is carved out of the forest, has beautiful undulating greens, and every hole is unique. Fairways we're immaculate. I've played all over the country and this place is special.

Great layout
Belterra has an excellent layout. Most fairways are wide. But there is a lot of deep grass if you miss badly. Fairways were near perfect. The greens had lots of interesting contours. Green speed was a little slower than I expected, but very good considering the amount of break. The cost was $120, so more expensive than a normal round. The staff was outstanding. The cart helpers were fantastic - even gave us a cold towel at the end of a hot round.

Great layout but no money put into it
The course has a great layout, and could be fantastic. But they clearly aren’t putting resources into it as the tea boxes were fairly fluffy although it looked well-maintained the greens were very slow and the sand, for the bunkers was terrible. The golf carts, at least mine, was extremely slow.

Great shape
The course is in great shape. Best I have seen in years. Staff was friendly and courteous. Pace of play was good. Cart girls were friendly and went back to the kitchens to restock and bring us some sandwiches. If you can't hit a straight ball, bring extra balls. The rough is high and there are plenty of water hazards. Fun course to play.
