Seneca Hickory Stick Golf Course

I play Hickory Stick about 3-4 times per year, and look forward to it each time. One of WNY's best courses public or private.

Played through golf now reservation! Got rained out and asked for rain check? He was accommodating. Then asked for t-time? I told him 10:40, he said that’s a Golfnow reservation and they don’t receive any money for it, therefore no raincheck! To Golf Course management I’m 100% sure you receive something in lieu of payment for the t-times from Golfnow! I am very displeased with his answer to contact Golfnow for raincheck! So sad golfed there many times in a 4-some and enjoyed their amenities! Even on the days they had there spaghetti tournament promotions when the course would have been empty if not their marketing strategy!

I know I got a special price through Golf Now! Our 4-some played 8 holes, then a down pour! Waited a little while hoping the rain would stop, it didn’t! Returned to parking lot unloaded returned carts. Asked about rain check in consideration of weather he said sure, and asked my t-time I told him 10:40. Hope looked it up and said we don’t get any money for that t-time from Golf Now! I’m sure that they are compensated in one way or another by Golf Now for a foursome to golf there! Very disappointed by basically paying more than rack rate and not getting any consideration. As a side note the foursome in front of me did get a rain check! Thank You Golf Now for let your membership get treated like this and basically have no way to contact you! Very disappointed, by the way Seneca Hickory Stick I golf there regularly in you Spaghetti tournaments and other times with out of town company showing off your course! Probably not anymore. Saddened!

Everything is meticulously cared for. This course also doesn’t Disappointment tough shot into the green and tough penalties if you miss. That being said it’s one of the best in buffalo but they command too high a price, this course should be $55 not $75 per round. There are comparable courses that charge that rate

Course wasn't set up to handle payment at time of check in as clubhouse was closed. Was leery of this after I finished and wanted to confirm how much I was being charged. 4 days later I noticed they double charged my card for a higher amount than I was quoted. Offered nothing when I called claimed a mistake but sure looks like they hoped I wouldn't notice. Not cool at all.

Best public course in WNY ... nothing else is really all that close in terms of layout and conditioning.

Fall rates are decent at Hickory Stick and despite recent rain the course was dry and the greens are rolling fast and true.

If the course would fit in my Golf Bag I would bring it home with me .

really enjoyed the course .. although for some reason the members in front of us feel that fixing ball marks on the greens is beneath them .. some blind shots due to tall reeds but really enjoy the challenge ..

Great gourde for me and the kiddo on his day off school. Just the right challenge. Wonderful layout. Friendly staff all around. Chrissy was amazing in the restaurant. I recommend this course to anyone.

First time back this year, really enjoy the track but a little disheartening to find front 9 under maintenance. No question that a quality course needs to be maintained. Would be nice to know with an alert on the hot deal prior to confirming.

This is a great course, fantastic layout... lots of bunkers & blind shots make it challenging, but not too hard... had a fun round

Should have notified golf now or player that tourney was going on. Was only able to play 5 holes which took 1 1/2 hours. 3 groups waiting on tee box. No was I was playing a 6 hour round.
