Turnberry Golf Club
About
Turnberry Golf Club may not have the length of its sister course located only 20 minutes away, Eagles Nest, but it has the same challenging character and unique layout. Molded from abandoned quarries, massive outcroppings of earth were recreated to look like the seaside dunes of Eagles Nest. This 3,400-yard, executive layout has sparse vegetation, generous green complexes, and strategically placed bunkers. The golf course begins and ends with a long par 4 with an interesting variety of par 3s in between. Each hole was designed completely unique from one another to emphasize variety and playability. At Turnberry Golf Club, golfers will be forced to use every club in their bag.

Challenging and fun
You can tell the person who designed this course has championship experience. The grounds are best I have seen this year.
Great course for Iron play
Course is always in great condition,, the greens are the most competitive I’ve played . . A short course but a great challenge.
over priced.
almost $70 with cart... and thats after a golfnow discount!....
Great course
Beautifully well maintained golf course , leave your driver on the bag most of the holes are par 3.
Very tough Executive Course
Well laid out course - will challenge your mid to low irons. Not a "Par 3" type course. Staff was very friendly and informative.
Arrive early and hit balls on a great driving range.
Pace of play was slow - course could use a Marshall to keep up the pace.
Course lacks an "after golf" area - no patio area and only a few chairs "on the grass" - much room for improvement here. There is a patio overlooking the course but it does not open until 5pm.
Price for a cart rental is high - priced per player and not per cart. Some additional signage between greens and the next tee box would assist with pace of play for first time players.
Early October
Overcast day with recent heavy rains. Course was a bit soggy in places, but well maintained fairways and greens. Challenges to keep on the fairways and avoid the fescue. Also several water hazards and pot bunkers to add to the challenge. An excellent course for working on your iron shots.
Executive course with quality
16 par3's but still enjoyable round. Excellent practice also the course is well maintained and designed. Greens are good as well
Great Course, Rude Starter
Had a starter make a very rude comment towards a member of my group who was sharing clubs with another member of our foursomes. "He should have his own clubs" along with an eye-roll and look of disgust. Found this very rude because this member was starting to get into golf. Not everyone has money to buy a set right away and this made my group and friend feel very unwelcome. Worked golf ops for 5+ years at a Turnberry course and this would have never been an issue. All in all, great course if you want to practice some challenging par 3's.
Nice executive course
Course is in great shape, staff are always friendly. Because it's mostly part 3s, a lot of beginners (which is great) but space them out a little more, often have lineups at the tee blocks.
