About
Turnberry Golf Club may not have the length of its sister course located only 20 minutes away, Eagles Nest, but it has the same challenging character and unique layout. Molded from abandoned quarries, massive outcroppings of earth were recreated to look like the seaside dunes of Eagles Nest. This 3,400-yard, executive layout has sparse vegetation, generous green complexes, and strategically placed bunkers. The golf course begins and ends with a long par 4 with an interesting variety of par 3s in between. Each hole was designed completely unique from one another to emphasize variety and playability. At Turnberry Golf Club, golfers will be forced to use every club in their bag.

Way too slow
Usually this course on average should be no more that 2.5 hrs to play the 18. This took more 4.5hrs. No marshal on-site to get the pace moving.
Enjoyable round!
This was the second time I played this course and enjoyed it! The course was fairly easy to play but I would come back again.
Soggy x Slow
Course was soggy on a dry day- trying to use wedge bounce was like hitting off a syrupy pancake.
On top of it all, group ahead of us were beginners and it got to a point where my group had the two groups behind us waiting at the tee box while we played, whereas the slow group ahead had two open holes ahead of them.
Marshall should’ve told them to pick up and move on, I can’t be bothered to bother to play through when it wouldn’t solve the problem the same way a Marshall could.
Won’t play again

Super challenging! Always fun!
A great executive course that always reminds me how much my short game can improve.
I never take my scoring too seriously here as some of these par 3's are elite level.
That being said it's good for short game tuning and working those low irons and pitchers of the tee.
If you play with friends it's nice as you all walk down the course together and it is more sociable than a normal 18.
The club house/restaurant here is beautiful with great food.
The staff are accomodating and engaging too.
Fathers day
Nice short course to practice your skills and doesn’t take up a whole day. Overall staff was friendly. Only negative is that there was an hour wait for the restaurant at 2pm. It was empty except for a private party in the next room. Certainly impacted the lunch our family planned for their father!

Better golf erscan use this course to improve iron play.
Great range and putting greens.
Excellent dining room menu and great food. Patio overlooks thè 1st tee anď 4th tee.
Staff are all very friendly from Pat anď Marlilyn at checkin, to Jerry the starter and Joey the GM. The cart gals are fantastic.

Why is there no tall tree in the course?
I have been playing at this course for quite a few years. I don't understand why there is no big tall tree in this course. The course layout is great and beautiful, however, when the pace is slow, it would be nice to find shades under tall big trees to hide from the hot sun, especially in the afternoon. It is very hot at times. Why is there no big tall tree here?
We often have to wait for 2 to 3 minutes at each hole so having trees would help to avoid the burning sun sometimes.
