Turnberry Golf Club
About
Turnberry Golf Club may not have the length of its sister course located only 20 minutes away, Eagles Nest, but it has the same challenging character and unique layout. Molded from abandoned quarries, massive outcroppings of earth were recreated to look like the seaside dunes of Eagles Nest. This 3,400-yard, executive layout has sparse vegetation, generous green complexes, and strategically placed bunkers. The golf course begins and ends with a long par 4 with an interesting variety of par 3s in between. Each hole was designed completely unique from one another to emphasize variety and playability. At Turnberry Golf Club, golfers will be forced to use every club in their bag.

Challenging but fun
My golf was really challenged by this course. It seems short but you really have to take good care and make good swings to do well here. Made me want to come back and face my demons here once again. My Golf Now experience has always been very good with seamless bookings and never any issues around accuracy or reliability. thank you.
My favourite par 3 course
solid course, well maintained, good place to practice your irons and short game.
Improve your shortgame
For those that think that a par 3 course isn't worth it. This course is terrific all-round, you just don't hit driver 14 times! You will hit every other shot, on wonderful holes, extremely well kept, for low money, and be done in less than 3 hours.
Excellent Course - But....
I played this course a few times now. Some might pass right by and write it off. But this is a very good, challenging Par 3. Every hole has something to trip you up. With a great mix of short, medium and long par 3s there is challenge for all skill levels. The layout could make for a tough walk on the really hot days, but a cart certainly isn't a must. If I had to complain about anything it is something that can not be blamed on the course staff. Somewhere along the way many golfers have forgotten course etiquette and don't seem to think they are responsible for repairing ball marks and raking sand traps. I think many courses in a drive to fill tee-times are letting people on the course who just shouldn't be there, or maybe I am just a snob. To the course staff, excellent job in keeping the course in such great shape despite the challenges..
Great course! Friendly people! Poor booking process!
Disappointed that the course did not have my Golfnow registration! Very frustrating for all! Caused major delays adding us and another 2-ball to the roster.
Need to fix your communications.
Great place to challenge yourself
Very nice place to challenge yourself...looks easy but par three are interesting... greens are very challenging...which makes it fun.....great service..very hospitable staff
bring lots of balls
This is the most challenging par three course in Ontario
Packing the groups in.
I used to like playing this little course when it first opened but the last two times i have been there they have tried to pack wayyyyy too many golfers on the course at once and the pace of play has been awful. Took 2:20 to get to the 9th hole and i just left. The greens are PGA fast too which isn't so bad but ypu arent expecting it from a par 3 course haha
Great Rate
Course was in pretty good shape. Fast pace of play for a predominately par 3 course.
turnberry
love this course you use a lot of the irons in you bag. easy walk, nice course .
Very well kept course
First time playing here. Course condition is excellent, pace of play was ok staff was very friendly. Played as a twosome. I would recommend using a power cart. My friend and I are in our late 30s and found the walk quite difficult especially with the heat (35 deg). Would play again.
Excellent short course
For those who don't know, Turnberry and Eagle's Nest have the same owners, which explains it's excellent greens keeping.
Lots go variety in par 3s that are challenging. 1st and 18th you can hit driver. It does have one of the strangest greens i've ever seen on the back nine - massive valley in it.
Don't discount it because it's short; go play it. Probably the best par3 course you'll play.
Very good course to practice your irons.
Enjoyed playing the course, however the pace was very slow.
Do not recommend purchasing a cart as you will not be able to move quickly through the course.
The course is very well maintained. Layout is a bit confusing, but overall a very nice course to play.
Best executive 18
I always love playing turnberry. It's a fast round and technical. It's a great way to start tha season or work on parts of your game
It tests your iron accuracy
Great course to improve your iron play but the pace was slow and we waited on most holes.
picturesque, challenging course well kept
For the accurate, under par golfer not that challenging. for the golfer that slices or hooks once in a while, very challenging. Either way, it is a beautiful well kept course that without a cart will challenge your legs.
Great for short game
Excellent links course for short game practice. Water hazards, unforgiving fescue/rough and sand make it challenging despite the shortness. The first and 18th holes are regulation lengths and then the rest of the course are interesting par 3's. Great conditions and some really fun views and approaches.
Would go back anytime.
Superb course, everything was great. Too bad I didn't play this course earlier in the season.
Short Game Improvement
This short course has a stunning view.
The course is very soft, and it's very easy to make large divots.
This course should be played by every golfer once or twice a year to improve their short game. The lack of long holes is a great way to enjoy a stress - free round to start or finish of a golfing season.
Excelent
Nice walk. Hilly but short distance between holes. Great short course.
